Good Choice 11/14/2006

We met friends for dinner last Saturday night and had a drink in the bar first. At 7:00 the bar was packed and we got the last table. Drinks were good and the service was good. We made it to the restaurant and had great service there too. All the food was good and the wine was abundant! After dinner we went back to the bar to see the live band, but there was no where to sit. We left and went to another local bar that was awful. Next time we'll try to get to the bar early for a table. We will definately be back and would recommend this place to anyone. Pros: Great food and service Cons: Bar gets very busy on the weekend more

lots o pasta 11/9/2006

I really enjoyed the pasta bar there were so many choices and using the different ingredients to make my own combination was great since I am such a picky eater. Please go with an empty stomach there a abnormally large portions, I had left overs for 2 days! Pros: the portions are great, pasta bar is ideal Cons: the resturant has very romantic lighting almost too romantic too dark for my taste more

Aways a Interesting Place 8/14/2006

I travel to Mpls every other month. The hotel recommend this restaurant as a great place to have dinner and watch people. Boy where they right. Dinner is always great. The Seafood special is awesome. and the South American steak . Service is always wonderful as over the years I know who to have wait on me. Shelley, Dana, Jen or Monica. They are a lot of fun. After go in the Bar. There is always something going on. Lots af regulars on weeknights, most are very friendly and include you in there evening thanks everyone! Watch out for Wednesday night, a very young crowd. It seems to be a hot spot on the weekends, can't wait to come back and see every one. Pros: Great food Cons: can be noisy more

Always fun and Tasty! 8/12/2006

Lamb is spectacular, drinks are good and they are always accommodating. Greek house salad is awesome and there is always plenty to eat. Can be very busy at times so I would call ahead for dinner. Pros: Fun, relaxed, excellent cooking Cons: Easy to eat too much more

Great authentic Greek food 8/8/2006

My fiance and I had dinner at Santorini a few nights ago and we both thought it was awesome. My friends told me that the service is always good here, and we were not dissappointed. The food was very good and we went into the bar afterward and enjoyed a drink or two and listened to a live band. The service in the bar was great also. I highly recommend Santorini, and we will be back next weekend with my future in-laws. more

Favorite Restaurant 8/7/2006

I went to Santorini last Sunday to have brunch. It was amazing! They had a large variety of food from pastas, fruit, eggs benedict, gyros and even an omelet station. They even offer a variety of vegetarian dishes. The price may seem a little much but it is definitely worth it! Pros: Amazing Brunch! more

Great place to celebrate a b-day 8/5/2006

Last week me and a bunch of my girlfriends went out to dinner to celebrate my friends 31st birthday. There was 9 of us and we had a great table towards the back. We had so much fun! The server was awesome and he kept us laughing. The food was delicious. We will definitely come back to celebrate more birthdays! Perfect! 8/5/2006

My wife and I celebrated our one year anniversary dinner at Santorini and it was absolutely perfect! When we made our reservations we let them know it was our anniversary and they definitely took that into account. They sat us in the back room in a cozy booth perfect for two. The service was great and the food was even better. At the end of our meal the server even surprised us with a desert topped with a sparkler. I highly recommend this restaurant to others! The worst service in the Twin Cities 8/5/2006

Absolutely the worst dining experience I have ever had in the Twin Cities. We were constantly ignored by our server and failed to receive some of our order. When we asked to speak to a manager, we were told that she was on the phone. Twenty minutes later, the hostess came to our table and blamed our bad service on 'high maintenance' tables. If I'd known that I had to whine, complain, and throw a fit to receive good service, I never would have walked into this restaurant. Avoid this location at all costs! Best Lamb Chops 8/5/2006

In my profession, I travel a lot. This past week I came to visit the Twin Cities area and heard great things about Santorini from a friend of mine so I decided to give it a shot. Wow!! I was very impressed. In NY, where I am from, we are known for our lamb chops. The ones I devoured at Santorini were by far the best lamb chops I have ever had in my life. I just want to say that I will definately be stopping to eat at Santorini again when I come back to visit the Twin Cities. I couldn't have been more pleased with their food and service. BEST RESTAURANTS 7/27/2006

The food was SO awesome! The gyros are the best in town! Whenever I go to Santorini it is ALWAYS busy and we always get the best service! Recommended servers: JoJo, Jen, Dana and Lois. They also have really good lamb chops and brunch. The prices may seem expensive but you get PLENTY of food! It has a wonderful atmosphere. I recommend this restaurant to anyone and everyone! Pros: Amazing food, great service and a wonderful atmosphere! Cons: NOTHING! more

Good food, bad service 6/14/2006

Brought in a group of 10 people. Orders all were delivered at different times. One order forgotten completely. When I asked that the gratuity not be automatically added, waitress left in a huff, came back and threw the bill in the middle of the table. Pros: Pasta bar is good, and unique Cons: Bad service more

Brunch Buffet is da bomb dot com 5/28/2006

Brunch buffet was awesome!! Great selection of greek dishes and others. EXCELLENT vegetarian selection. Loved the addition of fruit and veggie platters. Service was pretty good cosidering the restaurant was PACKED- the waiter kept our drinks full and constantly cleared plates. There are quite a few bad reviews of this restaurant but I would say the fact that it is packed weekly is a sign that others feel differently. Give it a try! I would not return 2/26/2006

We went last friday for a special dinner for our anniversary. We made reservations on Open Table.com and asked for a romantic seating as it was a special occasion. We were wedged into a corner and had to move the table to get out because people were seated so close to us. The staff treated us like we were at perkins, actually I've had better service at Perkins and I didn't pay 75.00 for two at Perkins. The steak was excellent but the rest of the food was average, and the saganaki was terrible. We won't be returning, in fact we had a group of 13 scheduled to go there later in March and I cancelled it. more

I would highly recommend this restaurant. We were seated promptly and were greeted by the server shortly after. The menu was large and filled with many choices. I had a very hard time choosing one entree!!! The pace of the meal was great, our server was attentive, and the food was fabulous! The ambience could use a slight modification however. The tables were way too close together, but the decor was visually stimulating. The prices however seemed to be a little high, although the portions did make up for it. My entree was huge!! Overall I had a great time and would recommend to anyone wanting to spend a little more for good food. Pros: Food, Portions, Prompt seating Cons: Price, Cramped seating more

The service was lamentable. We were not greeted. The table service was poor. The waiter dismissed my wine choice. I've been to Greece and it's not just about food it's about hospitality. more

One of my Favorite places in Minneapolis! 6/16/2005

This is a fun, affordable getaway to the Greek Islands! The food is always great, I have never had a bad meal here. Sometimes ""iffy"" on the service, but for the most part very accomodating. The owner is often on the premisis and has a smiling, welcoming and very grateful presence. It is clear he loves his business and the people who come to his resaurant. A nice place just for an appetizer, or meal-the appetizers on this menu are not your usual ""Buffalo wings"", onion rings and other tired items. They are unique and very much worth trying. The calamari is different and delicious, and the Saganaki & Spanakopita are in themselves worth the trip. Try a side of the ""Greek style"" spaghetti with burnt butter and mizithra cheese....it is to die for! Santorini's-please don't ever go away! more

We were visiting Minneapolis. My wife likes greek food and we have been in this beautiful Island of Santorini. This restaurant didn' remind us anything of it. The food was terrible, nothing close to mediterranean food. more
