Being that we are a customer service based company, we welcome all input from our guests. However, when a guest chooses to post negative on-line comments, it makes it very diffic...

Worst

I enjoyed my massage. The pedicure was good, except for the double dipping into the scrub...maybe not so smart. I did notice that a few of the women doing nails had warts! yikes....

Amazing staff, fair prices, great spa! 2/22/2012

My entire family has been going to Santa Fe Day Spa for several years. We love it! I regularly get facials with Mary, who truly cares for her client's skin. I also get my haircut regularly and have never had a bad sylist. I highly recommend Santa Fe to everyone I can. VERY enjoyable! 2/16/2012

I am new to Birmingham and have not been able to find a day spa that was on par to what I am used to. I started off with a wonderful swedish massage. The best I have had in a long while! I then had a haircut. I had been wanting a new style for some time, but was a little nervous letting someone I had never met do that. But she listened to me, offered her advice, and I left with a great new style! I will definitely be returning! Enjoyable 6/18/2011

I enjoyed my massage. The pedicure was good, except for the double dipping into the scrub...maybe not so smart. I did notice that a few of the women doing nails had warts! yikes...maybe wearing gloves would help. My 'snack' consisted of a fruit tray, but I wrote on my profile being allergic to some fruit and I didn't get my drink with my snack. I didn't complain b/c everyone was so pleasant. Overall it was a good experience, if you can overlook some things. I'll probably just get the massage next time. more

Being that we are a customer service based company, we welcome all input from our guests. However, when a guest chooses to post negative on-line comments, it makes it very difficult for us to respond when we don?t have enough details. We need a name, date of service, etc. in order to be able to investigate and solve any issues that did in fact take place. We have also had ex-employees try to discredit our spa by posting complaints while posing as a guest. If a guest contacts us via email or by phone, we ALWAYS respond and go out of our way to make sure that guests comments are taken seriously and resolved. There is nothing we can do to resolve an issue for a guest who does not contact us to let us know there was a problem. more

TO MUCH MONEY FOR A NONPROFESSIONAL SPA, 3/8/2011

I WILL HAVE TO SAY THAT SANTA FE DAY SPA HAS ALOT OF SERVICES TO PICK FROM, AND I WILL HAVE TO SAY THAT THEY IMPLOYEE PEOPLE THAT HAVE A VERY LOW LEVEL OF EXPERIENCE IN THERE LINE OF WORK. THE OWNERS ARE VERY UNPROFESSIONAL IN THE WAY THEY SPEAK TO THERE EMPLOYEES IN A DISTURBING WAY THAT DID NOT ALLOW ME TO ENJOY MY SERVICES, I ALSO SAW SOMETHING THAT I SHOULD NOT HAVE SEEN. I HAVE PAID FOR NAILS AND HAIR SERVICE AND WHEN I WAS WAITING I SAW THE NAIL TECHS REUSING ORANGE WOOD STICKS THAT WERE USED ON OTHER CLIENTS . AS A CLLIENT AND DOING RESEARCH THOUGH STATE BOARDS, I WAS TOLD THAT ORANGE WOOD STICKS ARE NOT TO BE REUSED ON OTHER CLIENTS DUE TO THAT WOOD HAS PORES THAT ABSORB BACTERIA AND CAN NOT BE SANITIZED BY ANYTHING AND CAN TRANSMIT HIV, STDS,AND DIFFERENT TYPES OF FUNGUSES AND IT IS AGAINST SALON HEALTH REGULATIONS TO REUSE ORANGE WOOD STICKS. I ALSO SAW WHEN GOING TO THE BATHROOM THE TUBE HAD A ORANGE RING AROUND IT AND THERE WAY OF CLEANING IT WAS TO JUST ADD BLEACH. I WILL NOT BE RETURING more

Enjoyed it 11/24/2010

I was scared to go to my spa day as I was uncomfortable about the massage - we all get that awkward feeling of not knowing what to expect. Anyhow, it was a spa day for two, so me and a friend went. She had been to a massage before, so she had an idea what to expect, but what she had with Santa Fe was "MUCH better" as she described. I believe the man who did mine, was named Michael - whatever his name was anyway - he was WONDERFUL! I felt so comfortable, he was professional and I seriously felt like I was in heaven the entire 55 minutes of my Sweedish massage. We then had facials, which made our skin feel so fresh and new. Then we had manicures and they did a really good job. more

i have been to this spa in the past and had services that were enjoyable. i recently patroned santa fe again after a hiatus of about a year. to my suprise, all of the service providers that i requested no longer work there. i still gave it a shot and booked 2 services on the same day. more

The best in town 10/27/2010

I have been going to Santa Fe for years. I have always been treated like gold. I started getting all my services done here because they care about the quality of service I get. I have gone to other salons and never have the customer service I get at Santa Fe. I am compelled to write this because I believe that they truly are the best in town and will do what it takes to make their clients happy. more

Will Not Be Returning 9/23/2010

I'm not usually one for rating businesses, but my experience at Santa Fe Day Spa has compelled me to do so. I recently had an appointment for a pedicure. When I arrived, I was promptly checked in and given a tour of the facility since I was a first time client. After my tour, I was escorted to the mani/pedi room for my service. Everything went well...then a couple of days went by. I noticed a blue haze forming on my polish after taking a shower. I tried re-washing my toenails, but nothing would get it off. To make matters worse, I then DEVELOPED AN INFECTION in one of my big toes! After paying $55 plus a 20% tip, I would expect the spa to be sanitary and for my pedicure to last more than 2 days. more

It doesn't get better than this! 8/4/2010

I totally just spent one of the most marvelous days ever at the Santa Fe Day Spa. First came a wonderful hour long massage with a very knowledgeable and professional young lady named Melonie, (she was amazing) then came the hair. (I'm always afraid of this part) My stylist was Kirby. I am a senior, I've had lots of stylists before and this young lady was at the top of her game, her advice, knowledge and expertise are superior. She was well mannered and thoughtful and I have to say my hair has never looked this good. I can not believe the color she recommended looks this great, so if you want to look amazing go to Santa Fe Day Spa and ask for Kirby!!! more

My husband got me a "total escape" package for mother's day and my day at the spa was, in fact, a total escape. Pros: Great service, soothing atmosphere, no wait, comfy bathrobes Cons: nothing more

I was surfing the internet and came across some negative comments about the spa that my husband, daughter and I regularly go to for hair, pedicures and massages. I can honestly say that in 6 years we have always found the staff to be very accomodating and friendly. We usually see the same service providers but occasionally have tried others. more

This is a great place to get a massage if you get Matt! He was very professional and I really enjoyed the hour massage. The temperature in the room was nice. The lighting was dim and relaxing. Great day at the spa 3/8/2010

I was very impressed with the atmosphere at the Santa Fe Day Spa. They had a lot of options to care for the customers -- restaurant, sauna, hair, nail, massage. I was treated to a bit of everything (except a hair appointment). After good coffee in the cafe, I went to the sauna before my massage appointmenet. Everything was very clean and impressive. The massage was relaxing but was only a 3 star massage. The room was quite, clean and the women giving the massage was very professional. The pedicure I had was my favorite from the whole experience. It was relaxing and I received a great massage from the chair. This was my first pedicure but from this experience would make it a regular indulgence. The staff was great and they really take good care of you. I thoroughly enjoyed the Santa Fe Day Spa and would come again. more

they are all gone...... apparently all the good service providers are leaving this spa. 2 of mine recently left i was told!! I recently became a patron of Santa Fe Day Spa when my husband bought me a gift certificate for a spa day. I travel a lot for business, so I've been to may salons in many different cities. I was pleasantly surprised when I walked in and found such a beautiful salon. The staff at the front were friendly and personable despite the fact that they were very busy. I was shown to the locker area and offered a complementay drink while being instructed on how to use the amenities. I used the steam room and hot tub, then went on to one of the most relaxing spa days I've experienced. The therapists were knowledgeable and very professional. Teri did my massage, which was amazing, and then I had a facial from Lauren, that made me absolutely glow. Afterward, I got a gorgeous manicure and pedicure and had a great time talking with the ladies there. Everyone is very concerned about your experience and willing to do whatever it takes to make sure you leave satisfied. I love this place and am more
