My family has been going to Dr. Sands for 10+ years. Nobody likes going to the dentists but Dr. Sands and his staff make the experience as pleasant as possible. We have been extremely satisfied with his casual yet professional approach. He has also been great with our daughter who is turning 10. His gentle and friendly approach with her has made it so she has no fear of going to the dentist.\r \r One other thing I like about Dr. Sands is that he and his staff show true appreciation for your business. 10+ years is a testament that he has taken great care of me and my family. more

Dr Sands is awesome. I moved here from Virginia 13 years ago and saw a coupon for his free initial visit ( which he still does) and have been seeing him ever since. Moved out to SLC from New Jersey 3 years ago and never found a new dentist. Developed some tooth pain and couldn't put it off any longer so I used Google search too look for a dentists in my area. So glad to say I found Dr. Sands. He and his staff are great and make a going to the dentist great experience. I would highly recommend his office if you are looking for a dentist. more

Our family has been going to Dr. Sands office for 13 years now. He has a great staff that is friendly and always great to welcome you in and make you feel important. Dr. Sands is always updating his equipment and procedures to stay up with the latest trends in Dentistry. I have had first hand experience watching the growth. Now that I have Five children that all go to the office I appreciate the Pediatric awareness he has and the interaction with the kids. The ""Treasure Chest"" ,""Movable TV's"" and their Tooth Brush Packets are the highlights of their visits. I highly recommend Dr. Sands, and his office. I will never go anywhere else for my dental work! Dr Sands and his amazing staff have taken such great care of me over the years. I am a difficult patient and they always exceed my expectations. Compassionate service like this has been hard to find until I had my first visit and realized just how wonderful everyone there is. Even when I was out of town and lost a tooth, Dr Sands was able to help immediately with recommendations and an appointment as soon as I returned. They have all gone beyond the call of duty. more

My wife and I have been going to Dr. Sands for over 1 year now. Before we found Dr. Sands we had been all around the valley trying to find a Dr. that would listen to our concerns. We had some bad experiences with Dr.'s that didn't seem to want to find out what the root of the pain was with our teeth. Dr. Sands is all about making you comfortable, he is always asking us if we are doing ok while he is doing the work. After a recent filling he text me later that evening and asked how I was doing and if I had any problems let him know. \r Best Dentist in the Valley!!! more

A beautiful dentist experience if one is to be had :) From the moment of entering the office you are greeted with a wonderful staff that are ready to entertain any question you might offer. From registartion to insurance information the process was slick as a whistle. The dentist was knowledgable and ensured that the job wanted was done. I usually hate dentists - they come off as used car salesman to me. I go in with a particular tooth that I need help with and most dentists will then proceed to tell me that my mouth belongs in a wrecking garage. I get that every tooth is not glimmering with shine. I am aging - life happens. But I was able to explain the tooth I wanted help with and it was done. I asked what priority tooth should go next and he let me know. He did not try to sale me on the $7000 dollar custom model. I do not know what economy many dentists think we live in - but for this ole' gent' the experience was just fine. So if you are in the need of an office that is very pleasant on the eyes - a dentist that just gets it - and as pain free as an experience that a visit like this can get.....I would suggest and recommend a visit to this office...... more

I love seeing Dr. Sands. I have been seeing him for over 10 years and genuinely look forward to my semi-annual visits. I have moved in and out of the area over the years but come back for my dental work just so I don't have to switch to a new dentist. He truly does care about the standard of work he does. I have had him redo old fillings (that other dentists had done) at no cost, because he didn't like the way the looked. I don't believe he over diagnoses. Coming from a person who had no dental insurance growing up and had major dental problems when I started seeing Dr. Sands, I would way rather have a cavity be diagnosed when it is small and take care of it right away than wait for it to become a bigger problem. Since Dr. Sands fixed my teeth 10 years ago, I have been cavity free, root canal free, and had healthy teeth over all which has made me a much happier person. \r \r I also bring my children to see him and they love him as well. You can't fool kids. They have both had to have cavities filled and didn't even complain when getting the numbing shot. He is extremely careful and gentle. My daughter HATES having a bite block in her mouth and several years ago when she was younger, Dr. Sands agreed to fill her tooth without using the bite block even though it took longer and is more difficult for him, because he wanted her to feel as comfortable as she possibly could. She remembers that and is not worried to go see him now. \r \r I also love his staff. They are very kind and professional. They always remember my name (which I love) and are very patient with my kids. \r \r I recommend Dr. Sands to my friends and family all the time. I would send anyone to see him. I used to go to Dr. Sands until I switched insurance companies and had to start seeing another dentist. Dr. Sands staff was friendly and so was he. My husband said it was the first time in his life that his mouth didn't hurt during or after a filling. For me, I had a few white fillings and some cosmetic work done. The cosmetic work looks amazing and my current dentist says Dr. Sands did excellent work on the fillings, he could not even tell I had them until he saw it on the x-ray. I have since then switched insurance companies again and am able to see Dr. Sands again. Dr. Sands treats you like family and is always super friendly. Pros: He was very personable. more

I've been going to Dr Sands for about 5 years after an unpleasant experience with another, less 'ethical' dentist. Having moved around the country many times over the last 40 years I've been acquainted with probably 20 or so other dentists in my time. Dr Sands has been my dentist for the last 5 years and I consider him to be one of the best I've yet had. His work is very good, I've never had a single post-op problem with anything that he's done. Once the anesthetic has worn off, I've never experienced any further pain, nor discomfort. Crowns and fillings that he's replaced have fit well, and seem to be lasting well. He is very good at triaging work. He'll tell you both what needs to be done, and how urgent it is - whether it'll need to be done immediately, or whether it can wait for a few months. Which makes budgeting for dental work much easier. Unlike my previous dentist, I've NEVER felt that any of the work he's performed was unnecessary. He explains what he's doing, and why, very clearly, and inspires great trust in his patients. His staff are very friendly and welcoming, and clearly very loyal to him. and I've seen a very slow turnover of people. Which is always a good sign, if the people under you like you then you must be doing something right. And he has a good bedside/chairside manner. He finds it easy to make small talk, and remembers what you chatted about on your last visit. I've recommended a few of my friends to him already, and they've been happy too. All in all a big thumbs up more

Dr.Sands and all of his staff are great! Energetic, positive and professional. Oh, did i mention painless! Makes going to the dentist a positive experience! Just got back from getting two (temporary) crowns. Very good experience, perfect prep, explanation of the process and perfect fit. Can't wait to go back for the permanents!
