San Diego Wild Animal Park

The San Diego Zoo is known to be the best zoos in the country. They boast the title as the "World Famous San Diego Zoo," as tourists come from all over to visit. I certainly agree. They have just about every animal for everyone to enjoy. It is an educational experience, especially for the children. All year, the San Diego Zoo hosts a variety of programs that include: educational camping, clubs, and trips for youths and students from in San Diego. Their variety of showcased animals is not limited to any type. One of the other reasons why this zoo has such a wonderful reputation, is for the pandas that it hosts. I actually do not know of any other place that has them. And furthermore, there are a bazillion rides, shows, tours, and attractions that contribute to the liveliness of the San Diego Zoo. more

The San Diego zoo is one of the best zoos in the country! It has a huge variety of animals and this zoo is truly incomparable to the rest of the zoos. They have all types of animals, including giraffes, monkeys, flamingos, etc. It is a big zoo in my experience and I think everybody should go there if they have a chance. This zoo is truly one of the highlights of San Diego. I definitely recommend this zoo and if you live in Southern California and have never been there, I urge you to go!!! more

The World Famous San Diego Zoo gets it's name for a reason. This truly is one of the best zoo's around. All of the exhibits are beautiful crafted to replicate the animals habitat. You can either walk the park by foot, take the tour bus or even use the overhead people movers to get around the park. The animals are usually all out and about. Just to name one, the koala exhibit is very nice. It is almost out in the open and you can see the koala's up close. This is a great park so all ages of children and adults. They are even open at night on some nights where you can then see the animals at night time. I would recommend this zoo to anyone in the area or anyone planning to visit San Diego. more

The world renown San Diego Zoo is definitely a place to visit if you're not from San Diego. The San Diego Zoo is located in beautiful Balboa Park and this makes for a beautiful entrance. Although the park is not open past 9 during the summer, it's definitely a zoo to enjoy with your family. At night, during the summer, they do have special shows that differ from the day time. San Diego Zoo is the biggest zoon in southern California. The zoo is 100-acre and is home to 4,000 animals. It is located just north of San Diego in Balboa Park. San Diego Zoo is a great place to spend the day learning about all different kind of animals tat live on earth. You will be surprise how many animals there that you never seen or hear of. more
