Salon 7000

I went and got my haircut at Salon 7000 with Melissa the other day and she did a masterful job. I told her how hard my hair is to cut but that didn't bother her and it turned out great. Normally when I get my haircut it looks choppy,but after the excellent haircut I received Melissa styled it and made it excellent. Melissa is a great stylist and a fun person to talk to. Salon 7000 has a very welcoming atmosphere and wonderful employees. They always strive to impress their cliental and never fall short of doing so. This is a Salon that i will always come back too. I have lived in the Valley for 3 years and was not able to find a stylist that listened, but also offered suggestions for what he/she thought would be most attractive for my features. Frank changed that! He made suggestions on color, style and treatment and I was very happy with the outcome! All I wanted was a trim, I asked the stylist Andrea to point-cut my hair, or do whatever was best to make the ends NOT look blunt. She didn't understand at all, even after I used pictures and described the ""smooth"" ""blended"" look I was going for. She was very confused and agitated, and had her manager come over. The only other thing I emphasized was that I wanted very light face framing layers, I gathered the front hairs and showed her how much hair I wanted her to cut. She ended up cutting too much in front, and one side was an inch longer than the other. Of course, my hair-cut was blunt, and it looked like I had two different hair-cuts, not blended layers. However, I will be going back to try another stylist. more

I was recently recommended to Erica from a good friend of mine. Who i'm sure was very tired of me complaining about my hairdresser i've had for 3yrs now.... that never listened to what i wanted. Anyway, i feel wonderful that my very first experience was exactly what i've been trying to achieve for months. My cut was perfect and my color came out beautifully! I went in not really knowing what I wanted to do with my hair, but knowing I needed a change. Frank (the hairdresser) spent time with me before the cut and color. I left absolutely satisfied, and will definitely be returning. Pros: Friendly and Helpful Cons: None that I can see more

I went in after not getting my hair done since September due to having a baby and all the fun that goes along with that. I decided to go to this salon because of all the awesome reviews, little did I know later that they would give me a card linking me to this website telling me to put my experience on here. I was running a litle late, which is expected of a full-time mom, student and worker. I was about 15 minutes or so late and they made me wait longer in the front. I assumed it was due to a client that the artist was helping, but I was sat down next to where I was supposed to be sitting while my artist did another employee's hair. All of my experiences with this salon have been great :) Lizzy does a great job waxing. She works so fast that it's over before you can say OUCH! I have had my hair cut once and I was happy with the finished cut but it took awhile to explain what I wanted and get on the same page as the stylist. Overall wonderful experience there. The staff is great, they enjoy what they do, and they maintain a fun atmosphere. Thanks for everything Salon 7000! more

I?ve gone to both Frank and Monica and I?ve been happy both times. Very friendly and accommodating they go above and beyond to make you feel welcome. Everyone is very friendly it?s like going to Cheers everybody knows your name. The best part is they not only listen but they do what you ask and have helpful suggestions as well. I met Monica (and her killer crew) for the first time last Friday. I was there for about 3 hours getting my hair cut/ colored- I think I was laughing for 2 of those three hours- I had such a great time! And my hair? Monica picked out a shade that I would never have picked for myself and the results proved to be exactely what I needed. For the past two days I have had compliments like never before :-) I'm a happy camper! And also- I think it is very important to mention Monica's support of local artists. Her salon is literally a gallery with various artists' works (all for sale) rotating through the salon every 4-6 weeks. Go check it out! more

I recently posted a review for this company that I would like to retract. I have been going to this salon for years and as of last week, will not any further. Why? Here is what happened to me. Was going to a stylist at Salon 7000 when I was informed she quit. They put me with another stylist Andrea who then charged me double what the first stylist was. Due to the work, I continued going for the next 6 or so months every four weeks, with out missing a beat! In the recent weeks, I had to cancel 3 of my appointments due to extreme situations that occurred that prohibited me making my appointments with Andrea. When trying to reschedule with Andrea, she in so many words advised me I was ""no longer allowed weekend appointments"" and that ""I became a risky client to her"". Is that fair? After spending DOUBLE what most salons charge for the work performed, being a faithful and reliable client for over 6 months and to get treated that way? Not cool in my book. I go to a stylist for service, they do not come to me. Stylist are a dime a dozen and with the economy now a days, a stylist should be a little more than careful when it comes to their loyal customers. As for the owner Monica and how she handled the situation, she didn?t. I notified her and didn?t even get the courtesy of an apology. Salon 7000 in my book talks a good talk but doesn?t do the walk. They claim great service and Customer service like no place on Earth...are you kidding me? Is this friendly and customer service oriented? Not a chance. Salon 7000 is over priced, good work but over priced and the staff could really use a class or two in customer service! Salons come a dime a dozen, this one just talks a good talk as it turns out and lost a very loyal customer! Do they even care, not a chance. Which is sad to say. Cons: How much time do you have? more
