Sacred Grounds

Sacred Grounds is a nice coffee shop if you are tired of the super chain coffee shops. The atmosphere is eclectic and comfortable and the staff are very friendly and will make special request gladdly. The coffee is always really fresh and the bussiness is also always clean. They also stay open late and this can come in handy after a night on the town. more

Add a colorful yet mellow atmosphere, great coffee in every flavor you can imagine, fresh fruit smoothies, board games and a bunch of friendly people and you get Sacred Grounds. The coffee is great and the menu is LONG. They can also make anything you can think up (including chocolate milk for my daughter). The seating is comfortable consisting of a bunch of furniture that looks like it came from someone's house 20 or so years ago. There are often performers and a large crowd. The crowd is mostly teens to adult, but children are welcome. I have also seen the occasional dog welcome in the seating area. This is the perfect place to hang out and read, bring your laptop for wireless internet access, hang out, or strike up a conversation with a total stranger. Open in the evenings to late night. more
