When we decided to get our very very outdated kitchen redone when, we had a few different people to go to. Of all of them, Spectrum was the most reliable, cheapest, as well as most time efficient. \r \r We have 3 kids under 4 and we did not want to be without a kitchen for a few months. We have heard horror stories about kitchens taking months to finish. That was our worst nightmare. We talked to Spectrum in March, and told them that we were going on vacation in July. for one week. And would it be possible to have our kitchen ""workable"" in that time we were away. They said that that was their goal. And they normally were in and out within one week. \r \r Because of this terrible recession, banks were very picky with all of our paperwork for our loan. We had to keep redoing our contract to the banks liking. Spectrum Home maintenance were so paitient and helpful with redoing everything we needed...\r \r My husband and I also needed some ""styling"" help with our kitchen color scheme. Mrs. Hatfield, who, it turns out, has a background in art history, accompanied us to the granite store AS WELL AS the tile store. \r \r Now, the main event: OUR BEAUTIFUL KITCHEN. It is something I appreciate every single day. I am so proud to show it off. The work is amazing. Everything is beautiful. It is modern and functional. I can not impress upon anyone how much we love our new kitchen.\r \r I am amazed how easy this experience actually was! They gave us a workable kitchen by the time we returned from our vacation. (granite and tiling needed to be put in within a few days of that, which we WERE prepared for). If i could recommend this company to everyone I know, I would. They even sent us pictures of the work in progress, while we were on our vacation! IT was wonderful. Seriously, this is a great company. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THEM!!! more

Dave and his son Greg are the BEST! They remodeled our kitchen and did a fantastic job. My wife is a very hard to please person, and I have to say anything that she asked Dave and Greg to do was done quickly and done fantasticly. After Dave and Greg did our Kitchen I didn't hesitate to hire them again to do our bathroom. Both the kitchen and the bathroom have gotten many wows from family and freinds of ours. I can't say enough about Dave and Gregs work it is the best I have seen in years. Today workers dont care about quality, they just want to get the job done and get payed, Dave and Greg care and have called to make sure all was done and that we had no problems. \r When I get the money together I plan on calling Dave and Greg to remodel my other Bathroom. I have no problem telling anyone if you want a job done right and without any problems call Dave and Greg. Also Thanks to Daves wife for offering to come over and help my wife pick out tile colors. Spectrum Home Maintenance has come through again! We met years ago in my old house when they did my kitchen and boy was that beautiful. When I moved, it was my kitchen that I missed the most.\r \r Now we just had our master bathroom done in our new home---and WOW! It looks like a spa. So beautiful!\r \r Dave and Greg, have hands of gold. We found them by luck and will never let them go. Even Mary is a HUGE help. They come in as contractors and leave as friends.\r They are in and out and NEVER do you come home to a mess from the work they did. They haul everything away. Kitchen took 3 days and the master bath took 4 days. Worth every cent!\r \r They are proficient, trust-worthy and perfectionist. I only wish I could keep them NOW to get my whole house done.\r \r Our next goal, is our kitchen...and there is NO one else in our minds that we would ever think twice of hiring than Spectrum. Dave and Greg remodeled our kitchen and the work was great. They were always on time and they completed the work in the time frame that they had promised. The job included taking down walls to expand the kitchen and the result is a beautiful, high quality functioning kitchen, where family and friends love to gather. We hope to use them in the future for our bathrooms, they have done two of my friends' bathrooms and the results are awesome! more

Dave and Greg were great! They remodeled our kitchen, including tearing down a wall separating the kitchen and dining room to give us a beautiful and functional kitchen where everyone loves to gather. Upon completion of our kitchen renovation in September of 2011, I ASKED Dave Hatfield if I could write him a review! Dave, and his son Greg, did an outstanding job on every facet of the remodel... During the bid process, Dave listened carefully to what I said I wanted. He made helpful suggestions and provided me with a detailed quote. He was patient while I interview other contractors, and when I changed my mind about various aspects of the project, he provided an updated quote without batting an eye. He also provided me with a list of previous customers, whom I randomly contacted as references. When I made the decision to go with Spectrum, I felt that I had done my homework, and made a solid choice. From the time of deposit to the completion of the project Dave and Greg did everything they said they would, ON TIME and to my SATISFACTION. They were courteous and professional at all times! The scope of my remodel included floors, relocation and redesign of an island, new appliances, new cabinets, new counter tops, sink, faucets, etc. Dave and Greg were in and out in the time promised. There was a delay from the vendor on my Ceasarstone counter tops due to the circumstances beyond Dave's control. He went ABOVE and BEYOND to remedy the situation! In conclusion, the entire experience exceeded my expectations AS DOES MY NEW KITCHEN! We entertain quite a bit and the compliments abound! I would not hesitate to use Spectrum again, and should my friends ask, I would recommend Spectrum with highest praise! more

I have had the pleasure of doing business with Dave and Greg Hatfield quite a few times. Spectrum Home Maintenance installed my kitchen, remodeled 2 bathrooms, installed a fireplace in my living room in addition to installing ceiling lights. hung all of the bedroom, closet and bathroom doors in my house. I NEVER had any type of problem in all my dealings with Dave. He is fair, honest and trustworthy. Dave even told me to get other price quotes before hiring him! When he gives you a quote, that's the price-not a penny more. When he tells you how long the job will take, that's when it's done-maybe before, never later. I don't think I would let any other contractor do work in my house. more

Dave and Greg remodeled our kitchen recently and it was great! He came to our home on a Wednesday and by Friday we had the proposal. They were there to start the exact day they said they would be, were easy to work with and gave us a great kitchen for a great price! His suppliers were easy to work with too! We have recommended him to quite a few people already and will continue to do so without any hesitation. The other people who reviewed this company must have been very hard to deal with because I can't imagine Dave being that way. He also gave us a list of past customers and we called a few of them - each of them gave glowing references and all had great experiences with Dave and his son! Don't hesitate to call them! more

We have been remodeling our home for over six years and this is the worst experience we have ever had with a contractor. We invited Dave Hatfield out to our home for a quote and were pleased with his estimate. We went back and forth several times over the next couple months with ideas. Each time we asked him about doing something new (like lights in the cabinets) he was excited and totally on board. Eventually we settled on a price and we both signed the contract agreeing to the work that was to be done. Dave said our kitchen remodel would take five days, which seemed really short considering the scope of the project, but we believed him. We gave him a down payment of 10k before the big day and the weekend before he was to begin, we sold our old appliances and moved everything out of the kitchen cabinets. Dave called us the Friday night before he was supposed to begin THAT Monday morning and cancelled all together. When we asked him why he said that he could not handle the scope of this project with all of of the fine details we had in mind and he had not allotted enough time for the project. We offered to give him more time and we offered to sub out some parts of the project to others to lessen his burden but he was not interested. We asked him for our 10k deposit back and he refused. He said he had already bought the cabinets for our kitchen with it and all he was giving us was the cabinets. We had bought a package deal from Dave including everything so we were not even sure what the cabinets cost. When he told us it was the entire deposit we were livid. We went to other places who priced the same cabinets as low at 7k (Just Cabinets and Donatucci's). We also were not interested in getting stuck with the cabinets when we did not have anyone to install them. We did not want to go to court though, even though Dave violated the contract he signed to do the work, so we took the cabinets and accepted the loss. It took us months to find another contractor who could work us in. We wanted someone who was really good and could be trusted. During this time we were forced to make payments on high end cabinets and appliances that sat in storage collecting dust. When we did bring people in for estimates they could not believe anyone was dumb enough to think this project could be done in a week. We also found out that Dave had told us the wrong sized refrigerator and stainless panels to order. We were not allowed to return the panels so we lost another 1k. When we got the cabinets in we realized that they did not fit. Dave had been off my a critical 1/2 inch and we had to go to extreme measures to remove part of the back of the house in order to fit them into our kitchen. Dave was not apologetic about any of this and was totally rude every time we spoke to him. He clearly likes to pump out cheap kitchens, one a week, and he has no attention or eye for detail. Once he noticed that we did, he was out. He seemed nice when were were getting our estimate but later he was rude and unprofessional and made many unacceptable mistakes. more
