I just had a very bad experience with Don Moore, a Snyder Company employee. Snyder Heating and Air installed a complete HVAC System for my customer on 10/3/18. I was told by Mr. Moore that a part located near the air handler would have to be replaced and that R & R Electric would be contacting me to schedule an appointment; however, he failed to tell me that there was going to be an additional charge. Today, 10/22/18, I received a call from a R & R Electric Employee stating that she was calling for payment. I told her that I was not aware that there was an outstanding payment. I hung up with the representative and immediately called Mr. Moore. At this time, Mr. Moore told me that he was on the phone with the "electric" company, so he placed me on a 3 way call. I told Mr. Moore that he never mentioned to me that my customer would be responsible for an additional cost. Had I been informed of this, I would have communicated this to my customer (Who lives in Hong Kong), and he would have gladly paid it, just like he paid $3875 for the new installed system. I was very disappointed in the manner in which Mr. Moore spoke to me. I have done business with Snyder Heating & Air in the past, and have never had a negative experience until today. more

I called on Saturday September 22 at 8 am to request emergency service. They have answering service take calls. So at 11am hadn't heard back so I called back and talked to a different person who promised to get things going. I felt 3 hours is ridiculous long time to respond so I called 2 others. Had a callback and appointment within 1 hour. Within 2 hours of contact tech arrived and repaired within 30 minutes. I received a callback from Snyder at 530 pm message sounded like answering service person from earlier. more

He was very courteous, did the appropriate semi-annual maintenance on our 13 year old Trane system. He also brought to our attention areas that need to be addressed if not now in the near future. He did a very good job and did it quickly. Will see what March 2019 brings. more

Our air conditioner started making a terrible noise outside we called Snyder and they sent Matt out the next day at aound 8:30 a.m. He was very polite and professional replaced the fan and had it working in no time. I really appreciated the quick professional service, Matt was great!! 08/ 16/ 18. more

I have no problem with the service or technician. Did a wonderful work. Felt sorry for the fact that he had to be in the attic with over 100 degree temperature. However, I believe your labor charge is outrages. 2 men for 2 hours, 1 man for 2 1/2 hours, labor charge $860.50. Approx $200.00 per hour, for a part that is under warranty. Our new unit was put in 2 1/2 years ago, then broke down. Very unhappy with the Goodman Mfg merchandise. Would not recommend it to anyone. more

I’ve been using Snyder for nearly 7 years now. I have hem come out twice a year for the cleaning and maintenance service and every time I have had a great experience. Everyone of the professionals that have come to my house have been excellent. My most recent experience was with Russell today and he did a great job! Very friendly, on time (actually a few minutes early) and took care of everything needed. I recently had an issue with my air conditioning unit, the blower wasn’t blowing and it got hot in my house pretty quick, I called the office around 2pm and they had a team at my house by 3:30, fixed the issue and were gone by 4:45! I was and am very thankful for this company that hire quality people. I really have had a great experience each and every time they have been to my home. I can highly recommend Snyder and their Team! more

Got home from vacation on a Thursday to a a/c unit not doing what it should. 20 years no surprise. Called Snyder they came out Friday and Saturday had a new unit Saturday. People are professional and we a so happy!!! more

My parents have a service contract with Snyder so they callwd them when the 6 year old Trane unit quit working. The tech told them the condensor was leaking but very minimal and charged them $400+ to recharge. He indicated this was temporary and they needed a new $3k unit. The unit stopped cooling the next day so we got a second opinion and it turned out it was the line set. Trying to take advantage if the elderly more

Called Snyder to look at a problem with outside unit. They sent out tech Chris L. The tech was on time and very professional, let me know the problem and fix prior to doing work. Did a great job will use again. Thanks Snyder more

I have been telling everyone about the great service these technicians provide. Today I sat around until 4:30pm for a 4pm appointment only to find out that there was nothing they could do today to help me (it’s already 5:30 and I basically need a new unit). I understand that is out of their hands but they still charged me 99 bucks to come out. Way to add insult to injury, Snyder. At least knock it to 50 when we are still sitting here in a hot house. more

Purchased three units from Snyder five years ago. Rheem repairs on one unit to date $3200 with $800 MORE this week when they replace the coil for the third time in five years...and yes this unit is still under warranty. Second of three units, Amana, is also down this weekend. Third service call on this unit in 2 months. Diagnosis need a new coil...under warranty but labor and refrigerant $650. So...replacing two coils next week. Again. both units five years old and under warranty. And to make matters worse it takes a week to get the warrantied parts in. Summer in Jax without AC is intolerable. I know the HVAC industry is struggling with coil issues but this is two different manufacturers. Can't help but think some of this is a Snyder issue. This iis my 5th home...I've never had problems like this. After this week, looking for another option. I really wouldn't recommend Snyder. Too much of my time and money spent dealing with them. Time to move on. more

We will never use them again! They did NOT do their job properly. They do not seem to be concerned of the deficiency of their service! Very sad to report of what we previously had for good service. more

Russell was here today to clean my unit so that it works perfectly. He was exceptional. Russell took apart my air handler and cleaned it and checked all the cooling levels. He also took apart the compressor unit outside and vacuumed out the debris and cleaned the coils ! Really a great knowledgable service technician, I really hope I get him next year for my airco checkup ! Thanks Russell. more
