Keith Did a Remarkable Job 2/27/2014

I was going over some things during lunch at work and had a list of hardwood flooring services to call when my buddy said “I don’t see Keith’s name on that list”. I asked him about it and he recommended Royal Wood Floors because his brother just hired them to refinish his house. My buddy said that I wouldn’t be disappointed and I’m not. Keith did a remarkable job and my wife and I love how our floors look! more

My husband jokes that I’m the pickiest person he has ever known. When it came time to redo our flooring, I wanted the carpet ripped up and to have the hardwood underneath either refinished or replaced. We wanted to redo our bungalow on the lake and the expense really came as a surprise. When we had some contractors come out to give us an estimate on our hardwood floor refinishing cost, only Royal Wood gave us a price that was manageable. Buffing wood floors isn't exactly a hobby of mine. I've got too much going on already with my own business to be moonlighting a non-paying gig. My office floors looked so worn out; I thought I might have to replace them. When Royal Wood Floors gave them a once over, I was pleasantly surprised to hear buffing would do the trick. A Must Use Milwaukee Hardwood Flooring Contractor 7/2/2013

We contacted Royal Wood Floors to install hardwood flooring to the entire downstairs of my rental Town-home (to replace old ratty carpeting). They assisted me in locating a fair priced hardwood floor replacement that is easy to maintain, while not compromising on quality. Not only were they timely, but their attention to detail and customer satisfaction, were unmatched in the industry in my personal opinion. Since relocating to Wisconsin in 2007, and having experience with other contractors, as well as hearing others opinions and experiences, this company is a must for all wood flooring needs! They stand by their work, and insure complete satisfaction, I cannot recommend them enough. more

Royal Wood Floors did an awesome job on refinishing our hardwood floors. The men were prompt each day and it (900 sq ft) only took 2 days. I didn’t know if the floors could be salvaged but they made them look brand new and we couldn't be happier. I'm going to be refinishing the upstairs soon and I won't hesitate to use them again... Impressed with job done by Royal Wood Floor Inc. 5/28/2013

We needed a new floor for the home we just bought. The carpet that came with the house was old, smelly and dirty. We knew we wanted to put a nice new hardwood floor in and our good friend recommended Royal Wood Floors to us. They said that Keith, the owner, will take care of you, treat you right, make you feel special and appreciated, and actually educate you on what products to use and why. Keith came out personally for our free consultation and cleared up all the confusion one has when purchasing their first hardwood flooring installation. We knew we wanted hardwood flooring, but we had no idea what color to choose or how to properly maintain it’s luster over the years we expected to be in our new home.\r \r His no pressure sales approach allowed us to make the right decision he even helped us pick out the color. Highly Recommended. Our 30 year old hardwood floors were dull and scratched up. We tossed the idea back and forth on whether to sand or refinish and we chose to try Royal Wood Floors refinishing services. So glad we did. They had prompt, professional, and friendly service. The floors were done in 4 hours, with no mess, and we could walk on them the same day. Most importantly, they look awesome! They really look like new again. I would tell anyone to try this before going the sanding route. It was 1/2 the price of what was quoted for sanding, and so worth it. more

Royal Wood Floors has just left the building… lol\r \r Last week I had a carpet disaster which had me thinking I was going to have to replace my entire basement carpet. Out of 3 different contractors bidding on my project, Keith of Royal Wood Floors came out and gave me something new and exciting to think about doing besides spending a ton of money replacing expensive wall-to-wall carpet. Needless to say, I went with RWF. They removed my bad carpet, installed beautiful hardwood flooring, and even managed to salvage the good parts of my old carpet to make an awesome area rug. They did all this within a week of the bid. All the installers who were at the house were extremely professional and neat. I couldn’t believe how little dust there actually was and Keith actually vacuumed my new area rug! The price for the project ended up being a lot less than what I was expecting because of Keith’s s idea to just do the main room and adjacent bar, and the space looks so rich and warm. I LOVE IT. I can’t stop smiling. more

Royal Wood Floors refinished the wood stairs and hallway and buffed the kitchen in our home. They were able to match the look of the traditional oil-based finish in the other rooms of the house with a quick drying low odor water-based finish. The color of the wood is so beautiful. The quality of the work, attention to detail and the customer service has made me a satisfied customer. more

We had just purchased a home and decided to rip up the carpet knowing that there was hardwood underneath, but found that it was in terrible condition, covered in adhesive and full of staples. After checking around online, I decided to have Keith come to do an estimate to refinish the floors. From the first time I spoke with him, he was incredibly responsive, professional and willing to accommodate our schedule. Scott did a fantastic job with the refinish and the floors look amazing. They got done ahead of schedule and left absolutely no mess in the house. Based on my experience, I would definitely recommend them to anyone. more

I just had my floors sanded and 3/22/2012

I just had my floors sanded and refinished. They are over 50 years old, and looked TERRIBLE. There was no finish left and they were badly discolored in some areas. They gave me a VERY reasonable quote, and just finished yesterday. I am THRILLED with the results. The floors look brand new. The guy doing the work was very friendly, hard working and incredibly particular about his work. He found and fixed every flaw and was a complete perfectionist. He was on time, left no mess what-so-ever, and was polite and hard working. I highly recommend them to anyone-the price was WELL worth the results. I would never have been able to do the same on my own. more

Such a great experience! 3/1/2011

As new home owners we were unsure what we needed and how to take care of our hardwood. Keith and Scott worked with us and advised us on what would look best, as well as be low maintenance for our lives. We are so happy with the service and the end results - our hardwood floors are amazing! Definitely recommend Royal! 11/5/2010

Keith from Royal came over and gave us a great estimate for the floors in our kitchen and entry-way. Scott performed the work and did a great job. I had tons of questions that were answered patiently and thoroughly, and throughout the process Scott kept me informed and engaged in the process. A big concern for us was all the dust from the sanding and finishing, and they put up plastic everywhere, used a dust containment system, and vacuumed up throughout the job. Some dust is inevitable, but Scott did a great job keeping it to a minimum. I definitely recommend Royal Wood Floors! more

Great service, great people, positive experience 11/4/2010

Keith from Royal Wood Floors met with us and went over the whole process for having our kitchen, dining, and entryway floors refinished, and provided a good quote for the job. It ended up costing us more in the end, but we asked for additional work and there were no surprises so I was satisfied with the price. Scott did the sanding and finish work and was terrific to work with. He communicated well, answered all my questions, and was very pleasant. He checked in frequently and made sure we were happy throughout the process. The floors look great and we couldn't be happier. more

Not Impressed 9/28/2010

A lot of things were promised and we left very unimpressed. We know what it is like to work with contractors, but working with Royal left a really bad taste in our mouths.\r \r From:\r 1. 2 Days promised turned into 6 Working days\r 2. Garbage all over our garage and in front of house\r 3. Sawdust not cleaned up on our deck\r 4. Left tape, hand prints and other marks on our walls after installation\r \r We spent more money with another company to do our dining room last year and we were very happy with finished product. Royal promised to match the existing wood, yet it is not even close. Next time we will use the more expensive company knowing they will actually do what they say they can.\r \r 5. etc...... more
