I was in shower when my wife ran up the stairs saying water is coming thru the downstairs ceiling. Turns out the old tub piping broke and was draining into our hall. I called Roto-Rooter and received help quickly. The tech, Luis was friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. It was not long before all was well and flowing properly with minimal ceiling damage. I recently had a major plumbing issue with a cracked outside sewer pipe that was causing raw sewerage to back up into my basement. What I thought would be a relatively simple fix turned out to be a major problem and expense. The plumber, Frank Rivera (3286), was extremely professional and knowledgeable. He went the extra mile in explaining the situation to me and offering helpful advice. He and his manager were able to obtain the proper permits and perform the repair in record time (3 hrs) so that I could get the proper remediation company in my home to begin the clean up in my basement all in the same day! Thank Frank and Roto Rooter for truly professional and exceptional service. You made this unexpected expense a little easier to bear. more

Had an unpleasant surprise from the company I bought my dishwasher from. The delivery charge evidently did not include installation. I was stuck with a large box in my kitchen, and no working dishwasher. I called several plumbers on Saturday, got two answering machines. When I called Roto Rooter I got a live person. Yes! They sent out a person within 2 hours who was able to install my dishwasher, test it's functioning, and remove the old unit. I appreciate that they did all of this on such short notice. more

My drains backed up on a Saturday.I called at 7:00 am and Roto-Rooter was there by 2 pm (although they originally said 10 am). Customer Service was very polite/professional. The technician Max was courteous, thorough and fast, very polite. It did cost @ $350.00 to snake the drain, but that may be standard for emergency service. more

That and everything else that grows in there caused a hose to blow off downstairs, filling our laundry room with water. Not realizing that the hose was critical to washing machine function (we're relatively new homeowners), my wife tried to use the machine and flooded the laundry room again.\r \r We called Roto-Rooter, and Amanda was very friendly on the phone, even offering a diagnosis, and said they would come out that night. They called later and apologized and said they would take care of us first thing the next day, which they did, and gave us a 15% discount for being late. Everything is fixed and works wonderfully and we now know not to put juicer gunk in the garbage disposal! \r \r But in case you don't learn that soon enough, you can call Roto-Rooter and they'll fix things for you. Last night I received the best service that I ever had from roto-rooter. The guy was very polite and very nice and did everything he could to solve the problem. Although sometimes when you call roto-rooter they tell you they'll have someone there in a couple of hours and you end up waiting longer. more
