Roto-Rooter really did make my troubles go down the drain - in this case it was a shower pan drain. It kept on leaking and stained our ceiling, caused mold...well you get the idea...

Roto-Rooter Plumbers 7/7-7/8/11 7/9/2011

This is the third time I've had to have Roto-Rooter out to my 115 year old house. Needless to say, when they've been called, it's because 115 year old pipes have serious problems. \r \r Mike (his code is 229) helped dig out and replace the collapsed sewer main under my basement in 2007. I had the main replaced/lined in the front yard and then under the house to connect to the new portion this February. Unfortunately, we had missed one old pipe from a new bathroom renovation in the basement to the main that was replaced in 2007. Roto-Rooter made an effort to send someone who had been on one of the previous jobs, so Mike was out here again this time.\r \r Mike spent four hours on Thursday trying to figure out the problem to see if they could avoid digging. Unfortunately, they had to dig that out the old pipe in the basement and replace it with a new one. Mike and John (2723) were here with another technician all day on Friday. Roto-Rooter Plumbers, 06/17/2011 - Contacted Roto-Rooter at 9 in the evening and they would have been out that night if it had been an emergency. They came to my place during the time they contacted me with. They were able to repair both toilets in my place. A minor rebuild and major rebuild. The work was completed in about an hour. Cost was competitive and I will definitely be contacting them for any/all future plumbing needs. more

Master Plumber at Roto-Rooter 7/2/2011

Great service, fast friendly plumber came and expertly fixed my plumbing problem. Within 40 minutes of calling Roto-rooter, a Master Plumber came to my house and quickly diagnosed the problem and fixed a backed-up kitchen sink. Then he offered specific tips and products to prevent this from happening again. He was neat and cleaned up the work area, leaving it better cleaned that when he started. He was in and out of my home within an hour. I would certainly choose Roto-Rooter for any of my plumbing needs, including replacing my garbage disposal next week! more

Roto Router Plumbers 6/20/2011 6/24/2011

Mel arrived at out house around 7PM. It had been a long day for him and it was about to get even longer...... \r \r After talking with us and checking the drains and cleanouts in our basement, Mel determined that the problem was a partial blockage in the main line. The next step was to find the cleanout in the front lawn, which turned out to be impossible. Our house is about 40 years old and to my knowledge, no one has ever had to use the cleanout. In fact, after probing the lawn for about 10 or 15 minutes and creating a ?Swiss cheese? pattern, he decided that the best approach would be to use the main cleanout in the basement. So Mel got the "big" snake out of his van and carefully maneuvered it down the 11 stairs to the basement.\r \r But, it didn't get any easier once he was down there. The cleanout plug refused to cooperate and he had to break the brass plug to get into the cleanout. We have a 50 foot set-back, so he figured that he would have to use about 80 foot of snake more

Downspout Cleaning 6/17/2011

I would like to thank our plumber, John (2723) for the excellent service he provided in clearing out our downspouts and drain lines. He was quick and efficient and thoroughly cleaned up afterwards with no damage to any flowers or shrubs. John, the Roto-Rooter plumber from Cleveland, came in to help clear our drain in the basement and he did a great job. He was informative and very helpful and very fast to take care of the problem. He even gave tips about how to keep the drain clear and avoid more backup. I was impressed with his service. I definitely recommend him as your future plumber. more

Ever since I bought my house, the drain in my upstairs shower/tub has been getting slower and slower. We tried all the store-bought drain cleaners and even rented a snake, but with very little result. At first it was a minor annoyance, but when we got to the point where our showers were in ankle-deep water, we had to do something.\r \r Luckily, John (#3623) from the Willow Parkway Roto-Rooter in Cleveland, Ohio was there to help! Within an hour or so after he arrived, the drain was flowing better than it has since I moved in. All the while, he provided me knowledge about what he was doing and helpful hints about how to prevent this from happening in the future. Before he left, he made sure my tub was clean and in perfect working order.\r \r John was a fast, efficient, and very friendly plumber. Truly a professional! I would highly recommend his work to anyone with plumbing problems. more

Fast and friendly 5/28/2011

When we have needed a plumber for waste line problems we have used Roto-roooter plumbers. They have been in the Cleveland area since 1935.\r \r This most recent issue was due to roots in our line. The gentleman, Larry, who came was very professional and experienced. He cleaned our line but was unable to get all the way through to the city sewer. He recommended a camera inspection and I told him to go ahead.\r \r He suggested I watch the inspection, which I did. He also was able to accurately determine the exact location of the block, and since this was on the street, the city will need to fix it.\r \r I asked if he could explain the situation to the city and he did so which I really appreciate.\r \r He explained everything very well so I understand the condition of my sewer line and know what to do in the future.\r \r Thanks Roto-rooter, and thanks Larry! more

Roto-Rooter Plumbers May 25, 2011 5/27/2011

I had a plugged storm drain in my driveway that is the only drain that protects my basement from being flooded. With all the rain we have had this year I was faced with a major problem if that drain was not unplugged. I called Roto-Rooter of Cleveland and they arranged for a technician to come to my home. John #2723 was knowledgeable, friendly and explained what he was going to do and what he the hoped the results would be. Needless to say I am happy with the results and if I ever need a plumber again I will call Roto-Rooter of Cleveland. more

Roto-Rooter Plumbers 5-14-11 5/20/2011

My basement flooded during the rain storms on May 14, 2011....I live in Cleveland. The sewers backed up! I called Roto-Rooter and within 2 hours(which I feel was good, being that there were alot of people with the same problem that day) Mike #229 the plumber was there to snake out the drain. Mike has to be Roto-Rooters best employee! His customer service skills are excellent! I was so upset when he arrived and he went right to work. He talked to me, not at me. He did more than he had to.........as I am a care giver for my ill parents, he made sure the hot water tank also came back on before he left. He also referred a excellent company, to do the cleaning as there is no way that I could have done it myself. That Company is Core. They are excellent also. more
