Rochambo Coffee & Tea House

\r I was introduced to rochambo by a woman named roslyn i met on the city bus a few years back, she told me there was a spoken word poetry night on sundays from 9 to midnight. i decided to come out,\r \r NEVER read a poem in front of people before. ralph the moderator helped me through the process. the people upstairs at this event were GREAT, even ralph's girlfriend was giving me props on my poetry, the entire group of people at that event were so kind, i never felt so welcome.\r \r the rochambo staff is very friendly, there's newspaper at the counter to read and the customers are nice as well, if it weren't for ralph and rosalyn i would have never walked into rochambo, they don't have poetry on sundays anymore but they do have my business, i will recommend this spot to anyone! more

Very best atmosphere in a renovated east side house. Upstairs; smoking, in many different rooms, views of Brady St., great music. Downstairs; bar (beer & wine), pastries, great service, artwork, and more music. Summer features patio seating. It has the best tea this side of the Pacific. Pros: TEA, Atmosphere more
