I have ordered from here several times since I've been in Chicago. Every time I order, the service gets worse and worse, which really sucks because they have great food. I live at the very edge of their delivery zone, so I have no problem waiting a bit longer for my food. However, the last two times I have ordered, it has literally taken two and a half to three hours for my food to arrive. I google mapped the distance, and it's a 25 minute drive. Let's say the food takes half an hour to prepare, plus the drive (and I'll cut them slack and suppose they are low on drivers), there is no reason why my food should arrive three hours after I place the order, cold, soggy and disappointing. I ordered from them again to give them a chance of redemption, but I definitely won't be giving them another shot. more

I normally don't order fried fish for delivery because it doesn't travel well but if you're close, I suggest it...very tasty. They actually included fresh lemon wedges which is a plus. As for the fries and cookies, they were both also great. I'll definitely be ordering from them again. more

Love Rocco Ranalli's! Food is always tasty - giant chicken tenders are amazing! Love all the burgers and the Mexican is surprisingly good too! Delivery times are usually 5-15 minutes shorter than promised - which is always great when you're hungry. Cannot say enough good things about Rocco Ranalli's - it's our favorite place to "grub"! more

An Oasis In Lincoln Park (Chicago) 5/3/2010

We were getting hungry fast and not finding any restaurants open that would qualify as memorable on our last day in Chicago. CitySearch was recommending restaurants that didnt open for several hours and we needed lunch. Thankfully we asked someone collecting for charity and they recommended Rocco's (or Rocco Ranalli's). We tried the Rocco's Special, a great thin crust pizza choice. I am not one who appreciates mushrooms but the 'shrooms on this pizza were so fresh that there was no not-liking them. The draft beer was very cold and just what a Saturday lunch in Chicago called for. As the Black Hawk's were in the playoffs, the large flatscreen TVs were tuned in but the diners were not boisterous in the least. In closing, should I ever find myself back in CHI anytime soon, Rocco's will be on my short list. Pros: Amazing Thin Crust Pizza, Atmosphere Cons: None Found in One Visit more
