A new building is not gonna help if you have the same staff. Starting with the front desk to the doctors, all very rude and useless. Even the ma's think they are doctors. They probably worked at McDonald's before.\r more

I agree that this clinic is very bad. I have been waiting for a prior authorization for about 2 weeks for a CT scan. Evidently they don't care if you live or die. Try calling there and getting any information because the people who answer the phone aren't very helpful. I have made two calls for the prior authorization department (no call back) I left a message for the head guy there (Mr. Robert Pena) and, of course, he is in a meeting and has not called back either. I'm looking for a new doctor somewhere else. I have had it with that place. more

I really really really do not like anything about this doctor's office. The staff is incredibly unpleasant and rude. Also while one of the assistants were giving shots to my 5 year old daughter the lady gave her shots too close and two shots on the same leg that is not supposed to be that close together and she had a bad localized reaction to the shots because of it. Also the ""doctors"" that you see are physician assistants not even real doctors. So you pay doctor rates to see an assistant. In my experience with this doctors clinic they are constantly trying to get you to make appointments to come in there. I will never recommend this doctors office to anyone. A matter of fact this is the worst doctors office I have ever experienced. more

I was called at home by a Nurse that sounded like she had marbles in her mouth and was told to come in and see Dr, Samuel. Not only was i kept waiting for 2 and a half hours, i saw the good doctor out in the parking lot with another woman. When she made an apperance she told my son to shut up,and that was it for me. Needless to say we left, the place is worthless, no wonder they changed their name, to get away from all the bad reviews, Dont go there!!!! more

Six visits, none less than an 1 hour and 11 minutes, the longest 1 hour 21 minutes. As a professional myself, I'd have no business if I did that to people. If you guys need help organizing and scheduling, call me, its not rocket science. Start with the Dr's getting there on time, then move to respect. Speaking of, the fron staff is gradually getting ruder nd ruder. ZERO smile, (except I did see some happy interactions with others hispanics) and no 'thank yous' or other normal cordial behavior. The clinic is nasty filthy looking on top of it. Like a downtown NY welfare clinic. So, there ya go. more

Rio grand medical group has been our pediatricians for over 10 years now i have 4 kids 14,9,3,2 so we are seen often! they do their best to accommodate you when ever you need them even on a Saturday or Sunday with the newer pediatric after hr clinic open sun to sun! The on call doc always calls you back in a short time. I have had to wait like 30 min a few times for my appt. the staff are very pleasant even if I was the late one. I have only good reviews for this place and its docs. They will take time to explain any thing you may not understand I love them!!!!! more

My son is a patient, was Is the right word. He has many health problems, his doctors were giving me conflicting advice. It always seemed to be treating the symptoms, not the actual cause of the problem. They always pushed for me to bring him back every month, instead of every 3 months? Even for asthma! Pros: many, many doctors. Cons: not many are very competent more

Rio Grande Medical Group offers terrible service. We agree with most everything the previous reviewer said. Our family has transferred out of RGMG. Their systems are a mess. Try getting test results.... no chance. RGMG seems to have grown too large, too fast. Pros: None! Cons: Everything more

This clinic is a mess. Horrendous wait times, disorganized, no call-backs (these people refuse to return phone calls), and very slow to give referrals and test results. Rio Grande is batting .1000 with us in terms of terrible service. We've had trouble with Dr. Tan, in particular, and wait times for Dr. Samuel and Dr. Flores are especially long, though they both appear to be well-qualified. The only thing this crowd does efficiently is collect our insurance co-pay. They've never had trouble getting that done in a timely manner. My wife is a health care professional and she is seriously thinking about filing a formal complaint with the AMA, etc. Pros: Qualified Doctors Cons: Clinic is a disorganized mess more
