I knew about Dr. Ricupito's reputation before I set foot in the door of his office. I did my research before setting up a consultation, and he is quite renowned among the orthodontic community. He is a board member on the American Board of Orthodontics and has several articles writen about how great of a doctor and researcher he is. I have heard that he is the best orthodontist in the bay area. I don't know if that is true, but my own opinion of him is that he is very skilled at what he does and I would have no problem trusting his treatment and medical advice. The only reason I did not decide to sign on with him was his outrageous prices, he charges about a couple thousand dollars more than others. My insurance would not cover a good portion of it.
