Erica's Great!!!! 2/27/2012

Dr. Erica Franks is the best PT I've ever had!!! I have a very complex case and have a long history of severe back pain with sciatica and RSD in both my right arm and right leg, and also some knee problems as a result of surgery in the past and I have been to several PT clinics here in GA and in NYC and she's the best. Erica shows that she really cares for her patients and treats me with the quality of care I need versus as a number and is very skilled manually. This young lady comes highly recommended!!!! more

Very Positive Experience for me and my family 10/20/2011

I, as well as 2 of my daughters, have been to Rehab South on multiple occasions and we have always had a very positive experience. Dr. Steve provided the care that we needed each time and always took the time to answer our questions and address our concerns. The staff in general is very welcoming and accommodative to our needs. If we ever need somewhere to go for our family more

Back to work and playing golf!! 10/19/2011

Dr. Steve, Thanks for getting me going again! I came into the office in a walker following surgery to both my knees and in about 4 months I was back to work and playing golf! Thanks for all of your time and guidance though my recovery. I am going to tell all of my friends about you and your company. more

Thanks for fixing me 10/19/2011

Thanks for fixing me every time I have been hurt over the years. The time you spent with me and helping me to understand what I had to do to get better was always what meant the most to me! I am playing soccer for Kentucky now and you were a big part of getting me there. Thanks again!!! more

Amazing! 10/19/2011

Dr. Steve, I just wanted to say thanks for all of your help and patience. 6 months ago after my surgery I never thought I would have made it this far but look at me today! And of course, I will always be that girl that passed out on you, but you were there to catch me! Thanks for everything!!! more

Rehab South Poor Experience 7/1/2011

Having been referred to Rehab South from another inpatient physical therapy, I found Rehab South to be very disappointing. It is not ADA compliant (I use an electric wheelchair) and there are no automatic ways to open the door to enter or exit. The doors to the rooms are narrow as well. I worked with one of the PT's and she used my electrical stimulator (as they didn't have any batteries for theirs). The next time I went I took them some batteries but my stimulator continued to be used because they only have one and it was in use. Their exam tables are difficult to get on as, I guess, they don't adjust in height. I spent my time on the table with the stimulator and squeezing putty in my hands. All of this I have been doing for several years and could do at home. My husband and I inquired about equipment and she stated they didn't have much equipment, not even a walker to try to help me walk. I was just getting back on my feet from the inpatient physical rehab only to waste my time and her time. As the stimulator was going and I was squeezing the putty, she left the room to work on other patients or she would work on the computer. I went to Rehab South because I need someone to help me advance and develop my muscles. A lot of what I need, I can't do alone thus why I was referred to them. Please, do your homework before going to them! I wouldn't recommend them to anyone. In fact, I would not recommend them to anyone. Dr. Steve's name keeps coming up but I have no clue who Dr. Steve is.........Too poor to even give a rating. more

Way Too Crowded 10/12/2010

Dr. Steve is a good physical therapist. The problem is that Rehab South books too many patients at the same time. This results in a lot of waiting around for Dr. Steve. Also because there are so many patients at the same time you may not be able to use the equipment you need because someone else is waiting for it.\r If you don't book all of your appointments right away then you will have a hard time getting an appointment because they claim they are all booked up. I spent six weeks with Dr. Steve and while I was rehabilitated I did not feel I got the attention I deserved. more

Rehab South 12/6/2009

This is my second round with Rehab South and Dr. Steve has been my therapist each time. I came in there this time with my girlfriend having to tie my shoes, because of back problems. I was just recently released and am very mobile. As long as you listen and practice what they preach, the rewards are wonderful....I have full mobility, with degenerate discs. I am thankful and Blessed they were here and reccommended. Pros: Friendly and Knowledgable Staff Cons: I really have none more

Physical Therapist needs to take more time for his patients 7/29/2007

My experience with the physical therapist at this location, communication problems, lack of concern for needs of patient, and lack of advice on certain questions asked. The theapist Steve is a good with the treatment, he just needs to take more time for each of his patients. Cons: Lack of communication more

Busy Office with lots of patients 7/24/2007

I am a patient at this physical therapy office, and my experience is that the communication is not good with the therapist I saw. When I go there are lots of patients and you can not get one on one treatment. With so many patients you can not get the answers that you need or the treatment you should get. Office staff is young and not experienced, everyone seems to want to go home if you go in the afternoon time and you feel rushed to get out. Cons: too many patients at one time more

Has lots of patients. Try to rush you in and out, and Dr. Steve is not understanding- bad communication. 6/25/2007

Has lots of patients. Dr. Steve tries to rush you in and out, and Dr. Steve is not understanding- bad communication and not compassionate. He will tell you to call with any questions, and then not accept your call and never return call unless he knows who you are,, and if you are a good friend. I have been in office when this has happened. He does try and tell you when to come in for an appointment on his scheldue. He like to work only with kids involved in sports. The office staff rushes you in and out as fast as they can. This Doctor needs to have people skills that are real and not pretend. His boss needs to know what you think is going on in your practice may not be just according to number of patients seen or money coming in. I would not recommend this Doctor if you are in pain and need understanding and compassionate care. Cons: Too busy for certain people. Is very involved in community and they come first. more
