The Ramada Inn Lakeshore is a great place to stay if you're in the Chicago Area. Angie and the staff there make it their mission to make your stay the best. The rooms are spacious and very clean. I had an issue with my remote, and within 5 minutes I had a replacement at the door. Everyone was so nice and friendly. The restaurant, The Lakeshore Cafe, has the best breakfast buffet I have ever had.Their Friday night Seafood Buffet was good and there was a Jazz ensemble playing for those enjoying dinner. The restaurant staff was very attentive. This hotel and restaurant are the best! more

Amazing experience 6/6/2011

I visited Chicago with my 5 and 7 year old and stayed at Ramada, Lake shore. The location is great with free parking was a bonus. The staff is very professional and knowledgeable. The manager took a few minutes to find out was everything okey with our stay. In fact, She recommended a few places where my kid had a amazing time. I was hesitant to book this hotel after reading some of the bad reviews. I did not find any of those bad things during my four days stay. Would come back in the summer. more

Great prices that keep us coming back 6/2/2011

The price is what brought us back again this year. nowhere else this close to downtown/navy pier/ the museums offered free parking and a pool for $100 or less. Also, easy on and off Lake Shore drive. more

Close by and kept clean 5/31/2011

The hotel is a basic one, but well kept and in clean conditions. Staff were very helpful. It is also within very easy reach of downtown Chicago, just 5 minutes away from the Metra public transport system more

LOCATION IS GREAT!!! 5/25/2011

I love the location as it was near the Mac Cormick Convention center. The staff was great and helpful. They have also a shuttle bus that my sister used in 2 occasions and the lady driver very nice. I used this service only once and took my to downtown and I noticed a guest was taken as a courtesy to the same Convention Center although this was not an arranged stop. I noticed also a lot of people in the main reception connected to internet thanks to the facilities provided. I think they have these facilities in the rooms but I did not have a personal laptop. Great place. I am sure I will return back. more

Very affordable 5/10/2011

Very affordable, decent location, updated and clean room. Overall, we were very satisfied with our stay. Hotel is being renovated. The lobby was very clean, and our room had been recently updated. Room was very clean as well. It's not the nicest hotel Chicago has to offer, but for the price, I would definitely stay here again. more

The lady at the front desk always helps us with any special needs! As always we always try to get this one when we have to go to the university of Chicago hospital because it is close and the staff there just goes out of their way to help! more
