My stylist/colorist NATO is very dependable and always leaves my color/highlights looking natural and gives me a cut that is easy to manage. He also recommends treatments and products that keep my hair looking fresh between visits. Being a busy mom and a recreational athlete I find that the hours at Pure fit perfectly into my schedule. I ruined my hair at the beach this summer. I needed expert help. Brittany was recommended by a co-worker of mine. She had genuine concern for the condition of my hair. Brittany gave my sun damaged hair a deep conditioning treatment which made it feel silky and soft again. She gave me an amazing haircut and sent me home with products to heal my hair. I'm happy to say, my hair has recovered and I continue to go to Brittany for deep conditioning treatments. Pros: quality products Cons: can't think of any more

Living in South FL I've been to many salons and tried to find the right stylist for me. At Pure I found Nato, and he is simply amazing! No one else has been able to help me get that Hollywood blonde look I love, while actually keeping my hair in a healthy state. I have curly hair and it's really hard to find someone who can cut my hair without taking too much off. I've also dealt with some horrible highlights in the past. Each time I've left Pure I've loved my hair. The staff is so friendly.....from the girls washing hair to the stylists. I've enjoyed my experience and would recommend it to anyone. BLOWDRY: \r Patrick does a tremendous job blowing out my long, thick, partially frizzy hair; not many stylists can get it right, but he was amazing on the first try. I think $50 + tip is A LOT for this service, but worth the satisfaction. My hair stays gorgeous for up to 5 days.\r \r COLOR:\r Dark hair: do not go to Tamra. Instead, visit with Renata for single color process. I color to freshen and glaze my natural color; the dark brown she used was perfect! I just moved in down the street and wanted to try some place new for my color and cut. When I went into the salon for my appt I was greeted by a friendly staff. The stylist I had had a consultation with me listening to everything I wanted which is very difficult to find in salons. She proceeded to do my highlights and haircut which turned out beautiful. I also got my eyebrows and a manicure done while I was there. Everything was great, I was very pleased with my whole experience at Pure Salon. Pros: friendly, great atmosphere more

I called on a Friday because I wanted my hair colored and Pure looks nice. They got me an appointment with Fernando and I told him I wanted my hair dyed red w/2 blonde chunks. 1st, apparently he didn't get me because he put highlights in instead of chunks, when I specifically said I didn't want highlights since I had them already from a few months earlier. He didn't tell me the red would look like doodoo on previously colored parts, just slapped it on. I was flabbergasted. My hair was poppy red at the roots, faded-looking red in most other places, muddy red-orange-brown in some spots, and I had the ugliest highlights ever. I said this was not what I asked for, he ignored me and said it looked beautiful. 2 of the assistants and 2 colorists there had my back, 1 called the manager Dana, & they told me to come back the next day for repairs. Fair enough, although after spending $200 I was upset about having to spend more in tips when I do not have money to throw around like that. Spent three hours the next day getting my hair filled, then three toners were added since Sarah E. didn't want to fry it anymore. It looked terrible but more balanced than before. She told me three months until I could get it colored. I asked about a refund of $75 for my highlights since that is an impossibility, but they said they'd just fix it until it's right. Okay whatever. Sarah E. also said that when I had sat down with Fernando she heard me say what I wanted, and she thought ""Oh no"" so I was like um why didn't you say anything? Others told me that this is nowhere near the first time they've had to clean up Fernando's messes. The English Sarah blow-dried it for me and said she'd make sure I got conditioning treatments as well, and said the toners should last about three weeks. Not even close. I went in a week and a half later for a conditioning masque which made some of my hair break afterward. Finally I woke up so sick of living in FL & wearing beanies to cover my ugly hair that I went in at 9:30am and told Dana I need it colored so it's at least EVEN. She had an attitude but got me in @ 6:00 with Iliana, was very nice and gave me some tips, used semi-permanent color and it came out alright, I'm much happier with it, but when it was all over with she said ""It's $75 for single-process."" My stomach dropped. WTF? I was not told that I'd have to pay for this, considering what Fernando did to my hair this is insane! The receptionist called Dana, and Dana apparently was saying that I was supposed to pay for single-process, but I was like excuse me, she never ever specified that, and they told me that Dana said the highlights would be the thing they did for free, but that's B.S. She never once said anything to me. I guess it's Pure policy to not tell people what they're in store for. For instance, I thought two blonde chunks would be some reasonable price, but he told me it would be $75 minimum for highlights. Great, thanks for telling me AFTER the fact. Ileana was nice til the end, she just wanted my tip money so she could dip out. I'm pretty disgusted w/my experience. I've been to many salons from WPB-FTL, all have been top-notch and done great work. This color job that I have right now could be just as easily attained with a box of dye from the grocery store-- I have colored my hair for about 15 years and I know the ins and outs, but this place messed it up so bad that I'm now trying to find shorter haircuts. I've been trying to grow my hair long for five years and I have to go back to square one. That's the kicker. That and my amazing boyfriend contributed financially to this and has seen me cry out of frustration-- not because my hair looks like poo, believe me I can handle that considering all the people out there with cancer, I'm pretty lucky you know? But bc I'm a nice person who pays for the service & simply expects to be treated w/respect, not treated like a pain in the neck when all I want is for my hair to look nice. I love to change my hair color every now and then but I've gone to different colorists in NY and Boca Raton and my hair was always messed up. It'll be a year since I started going to do my hair with Jeremy at Pure Salon and for the first time in years my hair looks healthy and never brassy. What I like about Jeremy is that he always uses high quality products and knows how to use them to bring the best out of your hair. I feel very confident about my hair, I always get compliments (for the first time ever!!!) and that makes me feel great! I compared prices around other salons in Boca Raton and they are almost all the same... so I don't know what people are talking about... try going to NYC. I highly recommend Jeremy! more

I have been going to Jeremy for a while now, even when he was still at his previous salons. Most of the times the cut turns out decent and Jeremy smooth talks you into believing he knows what he's doing (he is quite the charmer). With the blow-out and products my hair ends up looking great. However, at this new place he's almost always super busy and it really depends on how rushed he feels. If there are other clients waiting, your experience will not be great. Yes, the hair will still look awesome when you walk out of the salon... but once you style it yourself, you will see the real cut, which lately more often than not is a very even one. Last time my one side was quite a bit shorter than the other and I had to go in again to get it fixed. I still think that Jeremy is a great stylist (for the most part at least), however, I wish the salon would not overbook so I would actually get the cut I'm paying for. \r \r FYI - weekends are notoriously busy and prices are high. Though what the salon lacks in service it tries to make up in style. If you do go, try to book on a slow day and hope for the best. I'm going elsewhere now. I am a wash-and-go kind of girl so it is important that I have a cut that looks great as soon as I jump out of the shower or even more spectacular when I actually blowdry my hair. I feel comfortable and confident with layers, an angled cut in the front and some bangs. But when I get bored I can trust Jeremy to do whatever he wants. He's got great taste and really knows what complements a person's features. No matter what, my hair looks great for many weeks before I would even consider another cut and I am always complimented by friends and strangers. If you ARE particular about your hair, just be honest. He's really nice and easy to talk to. I recommend Jeremy to EVERYONE and he always leaves the same impression on everyone. Great guy, amazing cut, nice conversations, spectacular service. The staff at Pure is always very nice. You're warmly welcomed when you enter the salon, given a nice glass of champagne while you relax, and leave with a gorgeous cut for a very reasonable price in Boca. I have gotten my hair cut by Jeremy for more than three years. I now live in D.C. and wouldn't consider anyone else to cut my hair. I am a regular client of Jeremy's. Every experience I have had with him has been a fantastic one. His cuts, styling, and color are better than any other stylist I've been to, not to mention the great conversations we always have while he works. Jeremy always considers and listens to what I want, and I have never left dissatistfied.. After I leave the salon, I always receive tons of compliments on how amazing my hair looks. II have been to at least 10 different salons/stylists in South Florida (not to mention numerous in Chicago). Ive traveled to the hyped up salons in South Beach and left unimpressed. Many were good - but nobody that I swore by. And then finally... I went into Pure Salon at the recommendation of someone I stopped in the street whose color I loved. I read the good reviews here but worried when they werent for Jane. I brought in a picture of a model. I'm usually too embarrassed to bring in pictures but I was not taking chances. And yaaay. I cant believe that I actually have the same color as the picture. it looks amazing. She used different colors and whatever she did with them just works. She did a great long layered haircut. I feel prettier than I have in a long time and will finally stop cheating on my hairdresser. The salon itself is nice and has a good friendly vibe. P.S. I'm getting married in November and for months i have been going to different stylists for a good hair advice, meaning color and cut, well this last Saturday i went to Pure salon and Jeremy did a great job on my hair color, i mean, i love it! I asked him to write the color numbers down so that i can have the same contrast effect for the big day! He did something very natural and sophisticated looking, he added contrast to my highlights which makes my eyes stand out nicely. Also, the service is awesome, it's more like a studio feeling, and can perceive the nice environment. People there are super talented, they care for each person and treat you very well, as my experience with Jeremy. more

I went into Pure Salon and spa and had the pleasure of having had Jeremy style my hair! He is absolutely wonderful!! He made my hair that is normally hard to handle and straighten and without having to use a brush, with his fingers, he styled it into perfection! I recommend him and as matter of factly all stylists at the salon as well. Two thumbs up! more

Couldnt agree more with everyones review on Tracy. I had a particularly AWFUL experience while looking for someone down here. After a disaster of a cut and color I read some good reviews on Tracy. I couldnt of walked out of the Salon happier, she took her time to make sure we discussed everything that i wanted to do/change and then proceeded to give me the most outstanding color I've ever gotten. My cut was phenomenal and i will never go back to anyone else. I truly suggest booking an appointment because she was GREAT! more
