i just had my stuff delivered to me in new york. they did a great job, had everything wrapped up great and it got here all in very good condition. from when the crew arrived they came in to pick up my stuff they were very professional and I enjoyed working with all the people who were involved in my move. it was an easy process and im glad i chose presto because of that. more

I was recently transferred to north carolina because of my job and I needed a company to move my stuff as soon as possible. I spoke with a gentleman at Presto Moving and he walked me thru their process and explained every last detail to me. I was told I would be given a call when the drivers were 24 hours away from my house in North carolina. I liked the fact that they gave me all the information up front that I needed to know therefore I knew exactly what to expect. Obviously nothing goes exactly as planned although it was a very easy process due to the communication. more

About 3 months ago I moved from Sacramento, CA to El Paso, TX. I used Presto Logistics and they were very helpful. From the beginning the feeling I got was that my belongings would be in good hands and everything would go smoothly. From beginning to the end, everything went as planned. They were in contact with me every step of the way, and my furniture was delivered safely. In addition to that everything was in perfect shape and overall this was a good experience. The staff was exceptionally friendly and accommodating. more

I went online to get quotes from different movers and the second I put my info online it went out to like 20 companies. I had some very odd conversations with people and the sales reps were not giving the information that I was looking for. After 4 or 5 of those calls I spoke with Abe at Presto Logistics and he asked me to go over a detailed list of the items I was looking to move and throughout the rooms I would tell him a bed and a dresser and he would be sure to ask if I had any night stands or smaller items of the sort. (When I did the living room I said all the big stuff then he asked if I had a vacuum cleaner, basically all the things I likely would have forgotten). It was extremely thorough and he explained that I would be charged per the space that those items took on the truck. The more items on the truck, the more the price will be. The fewer items I decided to bring, the lower the cost. While on the phone with Abe he walked me through some websites on how to verify his companies legitimacy. It was very comforting knowing that they had nothing to hide and overall very positive feedback from all the websites. I set up my move for a week later and I requested they come early because I had to clean up before i left the house for good. They were on time early in the morning and worked quickly and efficiently getting the items wrapped very nicely. The furniture looked like it could go through a snow storm and not get damaged, it was very promising. I had set my delivery for a week later and I was told I would get a call once theyre loaded. I received a call about a week and a day later telling me that the items were loaded for delivery and that they were on their way to me. From that point the driver gave me a call directly and he provided me with updates throughout his trip letting me know exactly when he was going to be arriving in New York. On the day of the move in it was just as pleasant as the day they picked the stuff up. They put everything where I asked them to and were unloading within a few hours. It was overall an efficiant process, from the phone conversation I had with Abe, the crew on move-out and the move-in crew. I appreciate the good work Presto did for me. more

First off I thoroughly researched this company and had 5 other quotes as comparison. They were in the ballpark with the ""Binding Order for Service"" and had the best rating with BBB. Darryl seemed very professional over the course of several emails and phone calls but ultimately that doesn't matter. Once you sign the documents and place a deposit everything is at the discretion of his ""Dispatcher."" He led us to beleive that our month notice of move date was no problem and that because they had a location in Irving, Texas we should have our shipment in 5-7 days. First off our pickup date was supposed to be May 7th in the a.m. I was supposed to get a call the previous evening with a 2 hour window which I never did. Evidently they were calling our number in Texas after I had specifically told them to call my cell phone as we would be moving our daughter from Arizona to Texas. I called myself and was transferred to Abe who apologized but stated his crew was running late and would be too exhausted to do our pickup the next day. He stated they would be out on the 8th between 7 and 9 a.m. This never happened. The two man crew finally arrived after 11:00 a.m. and the first thing the driver said was ""It's too hot here."" He showed his lack of enthusiasm by moving extremely slowly even after knowing we were over 24 hours late at this point. He showed me an itemized list of extra charges that we could incur which I then told him I wanted to know before he used any of those items so I could approve the charges...He failed to do this as well. He stated the dressers had to be unpacked of clothing because they would be too heavy and charged us for the box and even to pack the box after I had told him I would pack them myself. After 3 hours we started moving boxes ourselves and literally moved every single box without his help. His partner did assist during that portion and that was the only time things moved quickly. Keep in mind we have moved the same amount of items 4 times as it was my daughter's one bedroom condo. Always it has been completely done in one and a half hours. It took this crew...with our help 5 hours!!! In addition we were charged extra fees not detailed in the quote. This included extra items that were not in the original quote which I was happy to pay for. But the fees for ""wrapping"" the furniture which don't be confused when they tell you that blankets are provided...They charge you $60 a roll for shrinkwrap that is laid on so thick it took heavy duty scissors to cut through and several dollars per roll of tape (they would not use the rolls I had on hand). They accumalted $427 worth of supplies to our bill which I find completely taking advantage of the customer. The hotel bill which I was told would be taken care of, our driver knew nothing about. I had to place more phone calls back to Darryl to get this worked out. We finally leave and I am so upset I call and tell Abe (manager) how dissatisfied and upsetting the whole ordeal was. He apologized and said they would do their very best to get our shipment expedited to us. Darryl called after we arrived in Texas having driven 18 hours and stated a driver would call us soon with an ETA and they had to ""work miracles"" to get us our items. The driver called and said they would arrive Friday the 11th....never happened. The truck (which are not their own, they lease them according to Darryl) broke down in New Mexico. Part was supposedly ordered and they should arrive by Tuesday...never happened. All this time I am having to make direct contact because no one calls me to notify of status. A different driver calls me and states the truck is being repaired and they should arrive on the 17th...never happened. The truck breaks down again. We finally recieve our items on the 20th. Overral this was a terrible experience. more

I found Presto Logistics on mymovingreviews, citysearch, and the BBB and I felt it would be fitting that I write a reveiw of my move after they did such a great job for me. When I looked at the top rated companies on these websites, Presto came very highly recommended so I filled my information out on their website. I received a prompt response from Henry who said he would be able to go over a quote with me on the phone. He explained that it would be accurate because they charge on the space you use for the move so by telling him everything I had he can tell me how much space it will take up. He gave me a very competetive price so I went with it. On the day of the move, I guess we were both off by a little with the number of items and the space it would need. Overall though it was fairly accurate. The men that were sent to my home were very nice and curtious. I had a refrigerator that I was throwing away and they helped me take it to the dumpster at no extra charge. When I asked Henry how much I should tip the guys, he said, ""we do not have any tip policy but if you feel the service you got was tip worthy, anything you give would be much appreciated."" Then on the day of the move I asked the crew leader the same thing thing and he answered with a very similar response. I thought that was very nice and all companies should have a similar policy. On the delivery the crew was a local crew from California and they were just as kind and curtious. I was told that they would put everything back together for me and put all the boxes where I wanted them and that's exactly what they did. All in all it was a very succesful move and I'm glad I found Presto with the help of these websites. more

I had very pleasant dealings with my movers. They told me it would be $999 for my one bedroom apartment. On the moving day it was actually $999. Great job and they tended to my every need. more

Nobody moves every day but if it was possible I would be that guy.. I have moved over 20 times, and so far this has been the easiest experience. I booked my move with Henry and he said he would be available 12 hours a day 6 days a week by phone or email if I had any questions or concerns. He meant it, I had a few updates on what I was bringing from the point that I gave my deposit and the move date. Every time he answered me in a timely manner and was extremely patient. When moving day came they sent a crew that did an amazing job. Most notably Luis who was doing all the paper work with me and was very professional. They sent my stuff from Texas to California in under a week and delivered the stuff with the same level of professionalism as they did on the pickup. I have been extremely satisfied with Prestos service and if and when I move again I will be sure to call them. more

Not sure where all these positive reviews are coming from, but Presto Logistics bugged me for my business, but after my commitment they became very unprofessional, lost 2 boxes during the move and seem to be too busy for people who already paid. Movers seem to be subcontractors who have little regard for your property and very untrustworthy looking characters. VERY UNPROFESSIONAL PEOPLE!! more

Great experience! I really liked the crew that came to my house they were so polite. On the pickup and the delivery, they were really great. Every time I called the office they were so helpful. Henry helpe me with all my questions in the beginning of the move and any time I called and he wasn't available Alley was here for me with all the answers and updates I needed. Recommended by me :) more

First lets just say I agree the positive reviews here seems a little fishy. I move from CA to FL and from the onset this company failed. They were 4 1/2 hours late. This was very bad bc I was assured 8am so I may start my cross country drive on schedule. Claimed to have used $200 worth of tape, and the lead loader requested cash to buy gas for the ""next pickup."" Delivered 5 days later than max delivery date and they lost a box and an important file cabinet. They have shown no interest in recovering the missing items, they do not return phone calls and I haven't heard from ABE in 2 weeks. Save yourself the trouble and go with someone else, anyone else! more

I live locally and I needed a mover to help my mom move from Phoenix to Cali. I called Presto cause I saw they were located right near me and asked if they would be able to move someone from Phoenix, they said they would and went over a quote with me. I wasn't exactly sure what was in my moms house so I asked that they overestimate. They said they would overestimate by 20%. When they got their it turned out my mother didn't get some of packing done and they needed to do it. It ended up being a wash because the quote was so overestimated the price pretty much stayed the same. They came the next day and unpacked everything for my mom in her new apartment here. They did an excellent job and I'm sure they would do the same for everyone. more

I have only moved once before and that was about 30 years ago so the market has changed alot since then. Even though it was a lot more expensive then it was back then, I found this company through some online review sites and I hired them for my move. It was a very simple move and they really did a great job. If i move again maybe in another 30 years I'll definitely use Presto Movers more

I moved once before this time and I knew for the most part what it was gonna cost me. All I wanted was to get a company that would do the job the right way. That's for sure what I got by going with presto. The one thing that was a concern was the delivery time. They told me 7 to 14 days and I needed it there within ten days. They asked if I was flexible on the pickup day in order to get it on an earlier truck and unsaid yes. They ended up picking up my stuff a day earlier than the original date and worked around my schedule by getting it to me within a week. The drivers nd workers were great on both sides and David was my contact in the office who was in contact at all times. If you want an easy experience with a mover, use presto,, they were great. more

my moving was easy i was moving to texas and only had some boxes and my bedroom set. it was very small and very cheap i also needed this stuff stored for a little bit of time and presto hold onto my stuff in texas then send it to me when i was ready. they put my bed together in my room and put everything away. thank you very much and have a great day. more

I had a very easy and positive experience with this company. They were very accommodating with the dates that I requested for my move even with the holidays in between the move. Everything went very well. I did have one slightly damaged box although I am going through the claims process now and barring a bad experience thorough that process, an overall great move. more

I used Presto for my move from cali to philly and they did a great job. I have a friend who reffered them to me and he was very satisfied with the serivce as am I. It made the process alot easier not having to go through a bunch of companies and getting quotes. The movers were quick and the delivery took 8 days. I thanked my friend for the recommendation and if I have to move again or know someone who needs to move I will be sure to use Presto. more

I had a horrible experience with Presto Logistics. 1) The final cost was about 15% higher than the original quote. 2) I asked if it was a direct move. Abe there said ""yes"" but it was actually a transfer. When I brought this up after pick up, he said he thought I'd meant ""direct"" as in not going into storage, which makes no sense. It's fine if it's too expensive to do all shipments as direct but it's not fine to mislead me. 3) An external monitor simply went missing. 4) They broke a life size terra cotta statue, despite me paying extra money to have it crated. (The ""crate"" turned out to be blankets inside a cardboard wardrobe box.) It cost me over one thousand dollars to have this statue repaired. I actually filed an arbitration grievance against them but -adding insult to injury - lost because I made a mistake with the paperwork. In short, I regret having choosing them as my movers. I intend to never again do business with this company. more

i had a very nice moving experience with presto logistics and i just wanted to share with everyone what a great job they did. i received an estimate over the phone which was pretty accurate but on the day of the move the driver was very reasonable and explained everything throughout. the crew on both sides were very quick and most of all efficient. they made it a very easy moving experience for me and i was very happy with the price i paid.. more

I originally lived in New York and I moved out to California and a friend of mine suggested I use Presto for my move. That was about 3 years ago and I really had a wonderful experience. Naturally, when I made the decision to move back to New York I called presto logistics. Again it was a wonderful experience and I felt that I had to let some people know of my experience. I needed some extra time before they delivered my stuff and they provided me with an extra month of storage free of charge. They delivered my goods on time and in a very professional manner. Just as I was referred to them, I will be referring them to anyone who needs this service. more
