In 2010 I was sent from the Mid West OH to do a very high end event in San Francisco Ca and photography at the event was one of the top priority items for my company. I asked the hotel (well the Fairmont Hotel a well known five star hotel in San Francisco) for a referral since I was not using a DMC. They referred Peter Bruce Photography,who ended up not only meeting our expectations but by far exceeding them with there ability to relate to the diverse group of people and the photography needs for this important event. The photographer was early,he had great ideas for shooting a large group of people who were getting awards that night and also doing there job without interfering with the presentation. In 2011 we are returning to San Francisco and we immediately contacted Peter Bruce to again shoot the event for us. They did a great job at our event and we are happy. Peter Bruce and his team at Very Fine Weddings are as good as it gets. We live in SF and got married in DC because it is legal there and CA will acknowledge a gay marriage done elsewhere. That said arranging a wedding at a distance is hard and having seen his work, we knew that we could not find anyone as qualified or detail oriented. His team flew out and brought all their equipment taking photos on the day before at the monuments and then on the day of arriving early to capture our moments getting ready as well as all of the family photos. Speaking of family, not only are we gay this was also a Jewish and Puerto Rican wedding so there was a lot of diversity and his team was able to relate to everyone in a way that demonstrated respect. In addition, i wanted a minimum of one photo of each family or couple so that they would have a picture of themselves to frame as a memento and he got everyone. I cannot say enough about the quality of the photos and how quickly he was able to give us the proofs. We highly recommend Peter and his team without reservation and know that they will not disappoint. more

I am not much for reviews but feel the need to say something. Peter bruce shot our wedding about a month ago. My now husband and myself are so happy. Peter was great to work with and the photos are the best. I would refer Peter to anyone getting married. 5 stars All the best J more

Peter Bruce photographed our wedding on recently and he was such a great experience , he made our wedding day even more special with the first class way he treated us. He also instinctivley knew without me having to tell him what would make great shots, and he shot the most beautiful photos I've ever seen of our wedding party and family. He has a wonderful, fun, classy personality and was so easy to work with. I'm usually very self conscieous getting my photo taken but Peter Bruce made it so comfortable, even my very shy husband enjoyed our photo session before the ceremony. The best thing about Peter Bruce is his honesty in not only charging us very good prices, but also giving us the negatives for free proved very important and i would recommend that anyone getting married do the same. Peter was also very open to suggestion, and since it was raining that day, i asked if he could incorporate the umbrella we were using into one of the poses and he turned it into such a breathtaking shot that i have had many requests to use the photo commercially. You can't ask for a more easygoing, honest, and classy photographer for your special day. 5 stars to Peter Bruce Photography! more

Here is an example, thank you for not asking us to stand for posed photos with each member of the wedding party individually -- and letting us get to the party and eat the amazing grab cakes. "We knew we wanted to work with you from the moment we saw your portfolio. I read some of your other testimonials but it was your warm personality and work that made us want to use you. What we didn't realize , but as my friend Sara (the want a be photographer) pointed out to me when she looked at your portfolio before the wedding, is that one of the many reasons we would love our wedding photos is that they are as much NOT like, as they are like the photos in your portfolio. They share your sensibility and artistry, which we fell in love with, but they are unique to our wedding day. Peter was the photographer for our wedding on June 5 of this year. He was referred to us by our Hotel, and I am so thankful for that. Peter was the only photographer I found that would give you a framable copy of every single picture taken, all of the pictures on a disc and all the negatives, at no additional charge. He also did this within weeks after our wedding. I now have a box of over 800 absolutely gorgeous pictures. I have not even begun to make an album because there are so many amazing shots to choose from; I just don't know where to start but one thing I am happy with is Peter is always there for me when I call with questions. Everyone that has seen our wedding pictures cannot stop talking about how beautiful and amazing they are, and how they look like they are out of a wedding magazine. I framed one and everyone always jokes about it being the picture that came with the frame. I am so thankful that I have all these wonderful pictures of our special day. My good friend is now using Peter Bruce for her wedding next year and I can not wait to be there. I wish it was my wedding all over again. Once again thanks Peter and I would be happy to refer anyone to Peter. LOL Sammi more

We hired Peter to shoot our wedding. He and his grew did both photo and video for us. It was a HOT day in Napa and I was worried how the photos would turn out. Well perfect !.
