Perfect Body Laser and Aesthetics

Was desperate for a new medical spa location since my last regular place turned shady- cue Perfect Body Laser and Aesthetics to the rescue! So happy I was recommend to check this place out by my dentist! Trust me I was asking everyone I knew for a new place. Clean. Friendly. Had an opening that day. And I left with immediate results. Can't beat it. I will be back! I am a happy, happy girl to have finally found a new trustworthy place! more

I first came here because of a friend's referral and I've never looked back since. i have been a steady client for a few years now. Yes, it is a pain in my rear end to get here from Jersey (I'm a Jersey girl!) but I endure it because my life has changed after laser hair removal. I'm shy so I won't get into the details but if you are considering laser hair removal try Perfect Body Laser and Aesthetics... seriously. You do not want to go to some shady place and end up with burn marks. The Aestheticians are verrrryyy friendly and do their best to make you feel comfortable. I've gone in looking like a disheveled hobo at times too but never felt judged (everyone looks so pristine and perfectly made up here so sometimes I do worry when I'm leaving the house looking sloppy). Most importantly...it works!!! For me..just generally speaking about 6-7 sessions did the trick. As for pain factor...depends greatly on area (atleast for me). Some areas zero pain..others..i won't lie..significant pain. But overall it is worth it and I wouldn't go to any other place than Perfect Body! more

I cannot say enough nice things about Karen and Perfect Body Laser and Aesthetics. I originally came because of hyperpigmentation (which completely went away), but ended up signing up for laser hair removal and I'm so glad that I did. Not only are the results amazing, but Karen is the loveliest, most patient aesthetician, who genuinely cares about her clients. Anyone who sees her can testify that she is personally invested in their results, and goes out of her way to do everything in her power to ensure that they are happy with their experience. She even follows up in between sessions to check up on progress and walk you through any concerns you might have. I would recommend her, as well as Perfect Body, without any reservations. more

Bought a package for 6 sessions of laser hair removal. The location is extremely convenient for me and their office is very clean and pleasant. Scheduling is always a breeze and they're very accommodating - I never had a problem with rescheduling or finding a time on short notice. The treatment is definitely not fun, but worth it. I had a different aesthetician the first couple of treatments, which was fine, but later on I had Karen who finished the latter half. She is excellent and VERY thorough. While making me laugh and helping me get through the pain, she'd still make sure to go over certain areas again just to make sure she got everything, something that I know a lot of aestheticians don't really care about. The laser treatment sessions are quick, I was always in and out in less than 10 minutes, amazing! Laser hair removal results are not 100% guaranteed and vary from person to person, but I am pleased with mine. Even with the package, it's not the cheapest, but you certainly get what you pay for! None of the aestheticians who worked on me ever tried to sell me on any other treatments. That might actually be the one thing I was a bit disappointed about, considering I asked about the peels and didn't get very much information. I'll have to make another appointment to discuss options and try it out! more

I'm a big fan of Perfect Body Laser & Aesthetics. I came to them through a ridiculously low-priced special on their website. The office is bright, clean, professional and seems to be well-managed. I've never once had to wait for a session. The receptionists and aestheticians have all been friendly and helpful. I've had four bikini laser sessions and two facial vessel sessions with Alexa. She is honest, thorough and really goes out of her way to make sure you get the best results possible. She warned me that because my strawberry blonde hair is relatively light, I might not have the best results. After my first session, I saw more reduction in hair growth than I had with SIX sessions at another laser center. I was very impressed. The first session was relatively painless, though she has pumped up the laser level for all sessions since and it now hurts like $@!#%. Other places I've been have been rude, condescending, and they've tried entirely too hard to upsell products. Annoying. Perfect Body is none of the above, thank goodness! Good laser centers are hard to find and Perfect Body is really good. more

The interior is clean and nice, their lasers are good, their aestheticians are well-trained, but I have had them cancel two appointments last minute on me. Very inconvenient and also a little unprofessional in my opinion. My results were actually very good, which is the most important thing but they should really work on their scheduling so there aren't issues. more

I've had about 6 laser treatments with at Perfect Body Laser and Aesthetics over the past year and a half for several areas. I have been really thrilled with the results and the service - how often can you say that! I am a super Type A personality - I do my research and have very high standards for skill/expertise, customer service/professionalism and cleanliness - and Perfect Body has met or exceed my expectations across the board. Rebecca is the best - she's knowledgable, professional and is always very pleasant and calming, which is important because although it's no worse than waxing, in my opinion, laser is not exactly a walk in the park. My sister is also a client of Perfect Body's and we have referred at least 5 people there and they have all had very positive experiences. I should add that I have no connection to Perfect Body, aside from being a very pleased client. They also have great deals and always treat you very well whether you paid full price or a discounted rate for your treatment. PS - laser will change your life! I have very dark brown hair and fair/medium skin, so I'm supposedly the perfect candidate for this, but it's worth giving them a call to ask about your options. more

I had a GREAT facial with Alexa today - just moved to NY from California and have been looking for a place to get a quality facial. I've been getting facials for years and have tried many many different types of facials that just don't compare. Alexa was very thorough, skilled and my skin, which was broken out when I came in, was visibly in better shape when I left. This place is the real deal and Alexa was amazing! Cannot recommend Perfect Body Laser and Aesthetics skin care highly enough. The only reason I'm giving 4 stars vs. 5 is because I was kept waiting for over 30 minutes before my appointment. After scheduling for 2:30, they called yesterday asking if I wouldn't mind rescheduling for 245 (no problem). They asked me to come in 15 minutes early...then didnt' take me until just after 3pm....I expressed my annoyance pretty frankly and they were sort of unapologetic....Call me crazy, but in my book that is just bad form: I was a 1st time client and service should be on point…. That being said, at the end of the day, I would actually put up with the wait because this is the best facial I've gotten in quite a while! more

I've never done laser hair removal before so I can't really compare, but this place is clean, convenient and the staff is very professional, thorough, courteous and amazingly excellent about following up after treatments. The place itself is nice and modern. The prices are expensive but on par with other Long Island reputable laser centers and I don't think laser hair removal is a place to bargain-shop. more

Great team at Perfect Body. They take care of you nicely and treat you nicely because they care about their reputation in the market. While treating me, the aesthetician had to leave the room to attend someone. She apologized for it and gave me a complimentary under arm free and also gave a discount of 20% on my treatment. Be careful with the appointment dates, it could go wrong. But good thing is they send emails 2 days before the appointment date. My results have been great though so I can't complain about that and that is something hard to find. Overall, my experience at Perfect Body was pretty good, they could use some improvement but ultimately I would go back. more

I have been going to Perfect Body Laser and Aesthetics for about 8 months as part of a package deal I bought for 6 treatments. I had Laser Hair Removal on my underarms and I am very pleased with the results. I have been told that I am an ideal candidate for treatment (fair skin with dark hair), the 6 treatments I purchased were enough to significantly reduce growth - at least 80% to the point where it requires barely any shaving at all. My Aesthetician and the entire staff are very professional. They provided incredible after-care instructions and advice. I went to another great LHR place for a different service. While their treatments were also excellent, the service did not match Perfect Body's nor did the overall experience. In summary, I highly recommend Perfect Body! more

This was my first laser experience and I am already hooked! I got laser Body Contouring done with a machine called Exilis? and it was amazing! I saw a noticeable difference right away! Before I went here I didn't even think a procedure like that existed. The employees are knowledgeable and kind. I loved my aesthetician! Although laser can be painful, she did a great job and made me feel comfortable the entire time. I highly recommend Perfect Body Laser and Aesthetics! more

Perfect Body Laser and Aesthetics is amazing!! Everyone is super friendly and attentive. They are always willing to work with your schedule and have great prices. Getting laser done is one of the best decisions I have ever made. They get rid of unwanted hair and make sure you are beach ready. It is amazing not having to worry about shaving or waxing. Love this medical spa. I've been going there for the past few years and each time received incredible service. It's spotless and very professional, while being warm and inviting at the same time (think dim lights and zen world background music). Easy to make an appointment and they usually receive you on time. I went to Perfect Body after having a not so amazing experience at another med spa and they were just great! Everyone from the front desk staff to the aestheticians there spent time explaining the procedures to me and taking time to answer all of my questions. The best part was they didn't over do anything, just aired on the side of caution and everything came out perfectly. I would highly recommend Perfect Body Laser and Aesthetics! more

Perfect Body Laser and Aesthetics is amazing! At my first session, the Aesthetician took the time out to explain everything about laser Body Contouring and she answered all of the many questions I had. I am getting fat reduction done on my tummy and I am extremely happy with the results!!! My Aesthetician and the rest of the staff have been so friendly and professional. The place is so clean and cute and so easy to get to. I highly recommend this place to anyone interested in Body Contouring or any of the other services they offer. You will be satisfied. more

So far, I just love Perfect Body Laser and Aesthetics. On my first appointment, I was greeted by the receptionist who was extra friendly and attentive. Make sure to arrive 10-15 mins early before your first session in order to fill out necessary paperwork. I bought a package for laser Skin Resurfacing. Rebecca did my laser and she was very informative about the company and the type of laser that was going to be used on my skin. Throughout the process she kept asking me how I was doing. I felt very safe with her. Not many places will do laser on darker skin but Perfect Body has a type of laser that is Just for dark skin (in addition to one that is just for light skin). So if you have dark skin this place is great for you. After my first session, I already saw immediate results! My skin looks great. I can't wait to go back for my second session! I had my first appointment with Alexa at Perfect Body Laser and Aesthetics last night and I am already in love with this place. I've had a really bad run with laser hair removal - my first treatments were with an RN who started her own laser hair removal business, but the customer service was terrible. Then I went to another place for 6 sessions and did not have great results so I went elsewhere instead of getting additional packages there. On to a third place which I liked much better than the previous one and had 2 or 3 sessions before they suddenly closed down with no warning. What the heck!!!!!!! Finally, a friend introduces me to Perfect Body and while the reviews are great I was skeptical due to my rough start with laser hair removal. I'm supposed to be the 'perfect' candidate since I am pale as can be and have dark hair - what's the deal?? Turns out, after my extremely thorough appointment with the Clinical Director, the places I was going to were IPL and not laser. I always had to use a lidocaine cream prescribed by my physician before my appointments and I still had pain. I didn't numb last night before my appointment and I didn't even need to. I LOVE the machine that Perfect Body has. It was great and so quick! I can't wait to update my review once I start to see results. The machine has a puff of cool air after each zap. I wasn't red or irritated at all after the session. At the other places I went to I was bright red and swollen and always had to run home to my ice pack! Granted I've had previous treatments so maybe I'm tougher now (?) and everyone's body reacts differently. I'm the wuss who never rips her bandaids off, so while I'd like to think I'm tough I really do not have any tolerance for pain. The place is super clean and pretty. It is so spa like and relaxing. Plus it is so easy to find, right on Sunrise Highway. I'm so over hidden places that are difficult to find. Show up to your first appointment about 15 minutes early or so to fill out the necessary paperwork. This place is amazing!! more

I was going to another laser place for my Brazilian but after not getting the results I wanted there (very patchy and a different tech every time) I switched to getting all my treatments at Perfect Body Laser and Aesthetics. All the ladies are very friendly and professional, the place is still extremely clean and the results have been great. My underarms are now done and I couldn't be happier to not have to shave. I haven't had to shave after 3-4 treatments but still had peach fuzz to get rid of. After one treatment on my lower legs I saw less hair grow in immediately. They use the best lasers and are very through. I highly recommend coming here. more

Just returned home from a session at Perfect Body Laser and Aesthetics. I used to go to there a while back. Very sleek, modern, sterile. Haven't needed to get lasered in over a year since the previous treatments were so effective. However, after starting Biotin supplements to help with nail and eyebrow growth, hair that was previously lasered in other places started to grow back. Boo! I was able to get a same day appointment. When I walked in, my Aesthetician recognized me even with all the time that has passed. She greeted me with kindness and warmth. After giving me very helpful tips on sun protection, she took me to get my procedures. Everything was done professionally, thoroughly, gently. It made the experience so pleasant. On top of all the impeccable service, at the end, she told me I probably wouldn't need another treatment after this. I really appreciated her honesty and how she wasn't motivated to bait me in for a package. Oh, and bonus!!!! She gave me a loyalty price since the cost of treatments had gone up but only charged me what I used to pay. Definitely 5 stars all the way. Kudos to Perfect Body for offering top notch lasers that really work and for providing the best customer service. It's tough to find consistency and integrity in this very competitive industry, but Perfect Body has proven it can be done! more
