I finally just got a refund after a month and several tries to get new prescriptions in my glasses. I wish I had read these reviews before wasting my time and my insurance benefit.
The first time they broke the lenses getting them in my frames; once they reordered the lenses I was not given the basic courtesy of a phone call letting me know they were in. When I finally called and found out that they were ready, it turns out that they were made incorrectly. As I was sitting there waiting for my glasses, almost every customer that came in had a problem, and not once did anyone offer an apology.
I got a full refund because I'm moving in a matter of days and there was not time to fix the issue, but I was made to feel that me moving was the problem, not the fact that a whole month and 2 tries later my glasses still weren't available.
I've never had so much trouble getting glasses, and to be treated as a nuisance on top of being inconvenienced and not getting what I paid for is unacceptable.
They're no longer Pearle Vision, I believe it's now Vision Center of New Tampa or something along those lines, but don't be fooled by the name change: the staff is the same.
