Great school, excellent training, all this and a job too!! 3/25/2012

I am absolutely 100% satified with PCI Dealer School. I went to several casinos and asked dealer's which school they would recommend to learn my dealing Blackjack, Roulette and Dice, and the overwhelming majority said PCI!! BOY, WERE THEY RIGHT!! HIGHLY RECOMMEND more

AWESOME DEALER SCHOOL 3/23/2012

I was really concerned when I got to town thinking that I would be hardsold into a lousy school. I asked many casino worker's and most referred me to PCI Dealer School. I couldn't be happier!! 3 month's in class, learned 3 games, they got me a job. I LOVE PCI!! more

Great Dealer School, Great Job Placement! 9/14/2011

I came here to Vegas with dreams of becoming a casino Dealer. After much research for the right dealer training, most of the positive results always led to the same place, PCI Dealer School. I learned Craps & Blackjack, (good price, by the way), and after about 2 months I was put in a casino, and I am a dealer at an entry level casino. Everything they told me at PCI came to fruition.Got o love their location....right by 5 Guys burgers!! A+ ABSOLUTE REOMMENDATION!! more

Couldn't ask for a better school 5/26/2011

Now I know that PCI is a business and a school but you kind of forget that because it is actually fun! The teachers are great and very patient. I don't know how they do it. The other students are typically really nice.. only had one annoying lady and the rest have all been awesome. The class sizes are small so you get a lot of personal attention. I only wish I had learned my other games there instead of the school on Karen. ugh. This school is in a very safe part of town but I hear is moving soon to Eastern and St Rose which is even better. I recommend PCI to anyone who is looking for a career change. Also, recruiters from some of the smaller casinos come in looking for dice dealers occasionally and they do hire the students! Also, that first review with the 1 star was obviously written by the competition. No one there has ever treated me any different than the guys in the room. I assume the person meant Joel not ""Josh"" and he is completely nice! He is a little blunt but he is definitely not mean! If you can't handle these nice teachers you definitely couldn't handle working in a casino!! more

I LOVED THEM!! 3/11/2010

I signed up at PCI Dealer School in 2009, and I was there at the time of their moving the school to the new Silverado Ranch location, (I helped), and...what a beautiful school. I live in Silverado Ranch, so the school is right by my house.\r When I graduated, they sent me to a small casino, and, although I was so nervous on the audition/interview, I still got the job. In this economy, wow.\r KUDOS TO PCI DEALER SCHOOL!!! Pros: New facility, underground parking, nice trainers Cons: Cannot think of any. more

Thanks to PCI, Joel & Mako 2/26/2010

I signed up at PCI in late 2009 and, as with many people these days, I was quite aprehensive.\r WOW!! Did they do a great job for me. It was so pleasant that I almost want to sign up again. \r I took a two game course, and, when I signed up, they did not promise me anything. As a matter of fact, they were a bit stand-offish about the market.\r Lo & behold, they refferred me to a small casino on the Boulder Highway, and I got hired on my second audition. (the first one I was sooooo nervous!!).\r If you want to learn how to deal, GO TO PCI DEALER SCHOOL.\r Thanks, \r Jack D.\r Pros: Greeeeat service, training, attention and placement Cons: Cant really think of any, (underground garage is a bit low) more

FANTASTIC TRAINING, GREAT TEACHERS AND PLACEMENT!!! 9/25/2009

I came in from New York, no job, almost broke. I spoke with a gentleman by the name of Joel at PCI before I arrived, and, although he made NO promises, I really liked the way he presented himself over the phone. \r I spent 6 weks in PCI, training with some of the friendliest, (and experienced), teacher's that I have ever came across. \r PCI DELIVERED!!!, AND PLACED ME IN A CASINO, although somewhat small, Joel did warn me that I may be going to a smaller casino initially.\r LOVED IT, AND WOULD DEFINITELY RECOMMEND PCI Pros: The job placement was terrific, great training atmosphere. Cons: The old location was a bit cramped, not the new one!! more

PCI DEALERS SCHOOL IS A MUST DO!!! 10/6/2006

I find that negative review absolutely ridiculous! I was actually a student at PCI Dealers School\r in early 2006, and, to begin with, there is no Josh there, in any capacity. True, the School is quite small, and you may feel somewhat ""cozy"" in there, but, as far as the instruction goes, this was some of the best individualized training that I ever received! Every student that I knew there was quite satisfied, not to mention the ex-student's that came in to say hi to the owner/instructors almost everday, bragging about the School and the job placement they had received in such casinos as Gold Coast, MGM, and the Venetian . It would be my guess that this person who was not happy with PCI is one of two things....either a student that had a very low I.Q rate, or, a COMPETITOR, which, I know for a fact from personal experience, does happen!!!\r May I also add that I, too, am female, and, from my observations and experience at PCI, I saw NO evidence of mistreatment to women. If anything, the instructors were somewhat more gruff to the men. Pros: Customer Relations, Career Placement, Follow-Up Cons: Small facility more

Women, go elsewhere 4/20/2006

This place is terrible! It's run by a guy named Josh, who's an extention of the Rat Pack mentality (i.e. women are doormats). If you're not catching on within a week, be prepared for him to boost his self confidence by trying to take away yours. He'll yell at you in the middle of the class about how the new people are catching on faster than you are. Bad, bad teacher, if you want to call him that. Go find another class and don't waste your time with this undereducated git. If he were all that, he'd be pit boss at Bellagio! Men, you might like it. He'll only talk personably with you so go for it. But women, steer clear! Cons: Place is run down, Too many ' more
