New Stylist 7/3/2011

I've been seeing a wonderful stylist by the name of Kelly Shields, who was referred to me by my sister, for at least 7 years. Well, I got some sad news (for me) and happy for Kelly. She'd moved to another location in New Orleans. I asked for a referral and Alison Smith sprung to mind. While waiting to see Alison, I was greeted at the door, asked if I'd like some coffee, water, or cranberry juice. I desperately needed a cup of coffee! Alison was pleasant, engaging, and most important in a hair stylist, she asked questions, felt the texture of my hair, and LISTENED to what I wanted! I LOVE my hair and have already scheduled my follow up visit! And I've verbally referred her to a few friends in less than 24 hrs! more

Had to wait several minutes before being greeted; no one was at the counter. Didn't like the cut or style and will not use the sylist again. more

Went to Paris Parker for the first time, pretty high hopes from reading the good reviews. When I walked in, all the staff was crowded around the counter. They did not greet me at all. They all simply stared blankly at me until I approached them and asked about my appointment. The receptionist asked me to wait a second for my stylist. I waited at the counter reading over their other services, until the receptionist asked me, "Uh, are you looking for xxxxxx? She's been right here." Apparently the stylist had been standing there for a while and didn't say a word to me. When I looked up she was giving me a REALLY weird look. She simply said, "Follow me." and quickly turned around. No introduction, nothing. Lovely style but the cut ended up being average. I was very put off by the way the staff treated me. Extremely rude and rather unprofessional. There's no way I'm coming back to this location after that. more

3rd Time & Still a Charm!! 6/30/2011

I've had Adrienne (sp?) highlight & Kerri cut my hair 3 times now and they are both FANTASTIC!! I always leave feeling like a new woman. Alicia waxed my brows this time & she did a wonderful job & evened them out for me. Totally worth the time & money!!!! more

I was seen within five minutes of my arrival at the salon. I am so used to having to wait at least 20 minutes at my former salon, so this was a pleasant surprise. I got a cute and easy to care for new cut. Thanks. more

Facial 6/25/2011

"Facial" does not describe the treatment I had. The facial was wonderful. But having my arms, hands, feet and legs massaged made my entire body relax. Really was a good start for a relaxing weekend. In addition, all of the personnel were very helpful and friendly. Great atmosphere! more

Just got my hair cut by Kerri (think that's how you spell it)and it's just great. My hair is just like I wanted. She listens to what I say and then does it. She's very good at hair cutting and a very nice person in general. I'd recommend her to anyone. more
