I love love love my haircut and color. The service is fantastic from the second you walk in the door to the second you walk out! I am a chronic hair salon hopper but I think this place has cured me of that! I will be back. more

I've been going to Paris Parker for more years than I can remember. Kelly Shields was my stylist until she recently moved to N.O. This was my 2nd haircut with Allison Smith. I loved what she did w/my hair the 1st time and this time she went above & beyond her "job description" by listening to me & offering her condolences. Not only does she ask what I want, listen intently, communicate what she will be doing...but she's a kind & compassionate human being. I love what she does to my hair. I love the friendliness of the ENTIRE staff--from the ladies behind the counter who check you in and check you out. Don't change a thing...except maybe offer to train other companies on how to treat clients! more

Amazing 8/26/2011

I LOVE Paris Parker at Perkins Rowe. I am always treated like a queen. Marsha knows color and my hair always looks great! She is very careful to not damage my hair and my hair looks awesome. Maria is also sweet and I almost fell asleep today when she was washing my hair. Luong gave me a hand massage while I was getting my hair colored. Magic Fingers is his name, because it's SO relaxing. If you want to feel pampered; greeted by the nicest people when you enter and leave, and want to look marvelous; this is the place to come. :) more

Not a good visit 8/21/2011

I have been going to Paris Parker for several years and this was one of my worst experiences. There were students (about 8 or 10)in the salon and the salon was way too overcrowded. They hovered around stylists and it was suffocating and uncomfortable. If I wanted to go to a teaching school, I would. I don't like this and wish someone had asked me if this was alright before just assuming it was. When a customer is paying for a visit with her stylist, she should have the luxury of it just being her and her stylist...not 5 others watching and making commentary. In the future, someone should ask if this is okay before I arrive for my appointment. I love the way my stylist colors my hair but I don't choose to go to a hair school to get it done! more

I came in for a brow & lip wax with Jessica, who was gentle and thorough, and a hair cut & style with Kerri. I have naturally curly hair and had previously been going to a different stylist, so I was a little nervous for my first cut with Kerri but she was wonderful! I cut off almost 5 inches and she gave me a great new style; I will definitely be returning to see her! The scalp massages during the cut were very relaxing and added that something extra that helps to set Aveda apart from the rest. Thanks! more

It was my first visit-I was promptly signed in and had to wait no more than 5 min. Alison cut my hair in 45 min and I was on my way- did I mention she did a fantastic job AND it was a Friday during lunch rush?!! Thanks Alison, will definately be returning for a visit. Plus, the facility was clean and sleek. :) more
