Not that great! 9/13/2011

My mother gave me an $80 gift dertificate to use there 2 years ago and I still have not used it, so that says it all! I have walked in there several times, without an appointment and asked if they could fit me in as a walk-in for eye brow waxing, the answer is always no, no offer to make an appointment either. I have,in the past, had a couple of massages there too and one was OK and the other, a craniosacral one was a joke, the girl never even put her hands on me. I go to a different salon for my hair so I need to just go in and spend the $80 on products I guess. Too bad, what a waste of money! more

Pedicure with Sandra 9/12/2011

I have had many pedicures over the years, but I feel the service and atmosphere at Par Exsalonce outshines every other Johnson County spa. Sandra is my hands down favorite due to her attention to detail and excellent massages. She is personable, but allows me the pleasure to read and relax, something that adds to the experience. more

I have been seeing Faroozah for several years for waxing and facials. She is wonderful. She is not only great at her job, but friendly and always looking out for my best interests. I would rather have a "Faroozah" facial than have a massage. more

Great place to spoil yourself 9/12/2011

Can't beat PS for pampering and great hair services. I first saw Angie Troxel after I got a really bad hair color at another salon. She has taken that straw-like mess and over time, got my hair in wonderful condition. more

Bridal Party 9/12/2011

The experience was good, the relaxation room was awesome, the steam shower and lunch great. The massage was nice, but I've definitely had better. I should have spoke up and told her to apply more pressure but I don't really feel like I got a massage. She moved SO SLOWLY along my back/neck that I feel like she barely moved at all. I don't feel like the manicure/pedicure was anything special and I will certainly need to get another pedicure within a week because the tech did not treat the cuticles on my toes well or get the deeper nails out. I could have painted my own toes and the bride's mother would have saved her money. We also got started an hour late which made us late to the rehearsal dinner. more

60 Minute Massage 9/12/2011

The massage was wonderful! Only improvement I could recommend would be the relaxing room BEFORE the massage is not quiet. Lots of fast foot steps and whispering, people attempting to be quiet, but it doesn't work. more

Rude Stylist 6/18/2011

I came in to Aveda to get a feather extension with a friend. We were not sure about what colors to get, so we asked our stylist Johanna what colors would look best with our hair. She obviously did not want to help us decide because when we asked she partially answered our questions in a rude tone. While I was getting mine, she did not talk to me at all during the entire process. I do not like going to salons where girls are stuck up and rude about their job. I want a friendly atmosphere with helpful employees. On the bright side, my feather extension looks nice but if I would have had more input I might have gotten one that looked better with my hair color. more

Facial at Par Exsalonce 4/17/2011

I went to Par Exsalonce on College Blvd for a facial. The staff is very attentive and friendly. The ambience is perfect (quiet and relaxed) and I really enjoy the relaxation room. Carmen did my facial. She inspected my skin and enquired about any previous history and my expectations from a facial. She did an amazing job! She also recommended a face wash and face mask both of which are working great for me. I would definitely recommend going to Carmen for a facial. All in all, I always leave this place feeling relaxed and great after a facial. more
