I was a patient of Dr. Lofquist and I will say that I think that she is not only a terrible doctor but a terrible person. I experienced a problem with my pregnancy while I was her patient, and instead of offering me advice -- or even information -- about what was going on, she was impatient, unhelpful, and unsympathetic, and made it clear that I was intruding on her busy schedule when I called her during her office hours with a few questions. I got better medical attention and advice from a nurse practitioner. Pros: none! Cons: condescending, rude, unhelpful, inattentive more

Excellent Care 9/16/2004

Dr. Lofquist is the best OB/GYN i have ever been to. She delivered all 3 of my children, and is professional, compassionate, and extremely knowledgeable. She always makes you feel like you are her only patient, and takes the time to thoroughly answer your questions, no matter how silly they may sound. Although i live in the east bay, i still make the trip to sf so that i can see her. She has a very relaxed attitude, and helps you understand medical issues thoroughly. Excellent Care 9/16/2004

Dr. Lofquist is my OB/GYN, and she is one of the senior members of the practice. She is very knowledgeable, and really takes the time to listen to all of my questions and concerns. The office is extremely professional, and has a very positive environment. Although i live in the East Bay now, i still make the trip to SF so that i can see her. She delivered all of my 3 children, and i feel extremely confident that i'm getting the very best care available. Pros: efficient office, excellent md staff, positive environment more
