This credit union has a great community feeling to it. At first they orientated to displaying UofO colors but now they've welcomed the addition of OSU orientated members as well. This bank has served me well and has always been accurate. There are lots of branches and opening an account was easy. I recommend them. more

Better than a bank - but getting too big 10/25/2005

It's definitely better than a bank...but their expansion in recent years has left lots of empty teller windows and service that is a lot less personal than it used to be. (I used to work there so I can tell that their standards are slipping a bit.) The online banking is great. Unlike many credit unions they have tons of locations which is very convenient. more

Best Non-Bank in Town. 10/20/2005

I've been a member since the 80s and I have never had a problem with them. I know them as U-Lane-O but now they are open to a wider population. The customer service is fantastic, easy to get loans and they have run lots of great programs in the past (and probably present). I used their Discount Auto Buyers service to buy two of my last vehicles. I don't think they have it anymore, but they have all kinds of other great things. Free checking with direct deposit. No comparison to any "bank". Way better. more

Excellent 8/26/2005

All my banking seems to go well at this credit union. They are very friendly and helpful from opening an account to making transactions easy and convenient. The online banking services make it especially easy to check my banking activities and balance. There are many branches of this credit union in Eugene and Springfield. This is one local bank that is known and liked in the community. more

Great service 8/20/2005

Very friendly customer service. Does not matter if you are an new customer or old customer, they will still treat you very kindly. I had a problem with my account and the customer service helped me through it very patiently. Its always a good thing to have customer service who cares about their customers. I greatly recommend this credit union for those with banking needs. more

Community Service 8/17/2005

This credit union renamed itself recently probably to encompass their broader base of clientele. In other words, do not think you have to be associated with the university to join. The customer service and advise I have been given has very good. They give off the impression that their best interests are your best interest–which is the way it should be. more
