Nicklin Property Management

Nicklin is without a doubt the most unprofessional group of people I have ever had the misfortune of dealing with. When I go into their office in Henderson, there is woman at the front desk dressed as though she were going to work in the yard who addresses me as ""Hun"". I received correspondence from this office stating that I should sign and return my lease extension prior to the end of September. Yesterday I received a voice mail that was very rude telling me that I must return the lease extension by Thursday or an eviction/move out notice would be mailed on Friday. Is that legal? When I called the office about the voicemail I was told that the owner had a friend that wanted to move in so I had to fill out the lease now; not prior to the end of my original lease term. I never make less that 3 or 4 calls to the office when I have a question or need something from them. Maybe I should start putting an extra paragraph at the end like all of their correspondence "" there will be a $25.00 charge if I have to place a second call or reschedule"". Nicklin Property Management is a joke, a really bad joke. We are not signing the lease extension because I can not tolerate these people for another year. more

Simply the WORST: The owners came up with the name Nicklin after developing a strategy to ""Nickel and Dime their clients to death""! If you are considering renting a home managed by this company, stop and SERIOUSLY consider the following: more

We purchased rental 4 properties about 3 years ago and after interviewing 3 Property Management Companies we chose Nicklin. It has turned out to be an excellent decision on our part. We communicate by telephone, understanding they check their messages twice a day, but mostly by e-mail. We have never had a situation where our calls or e-mails were not returned. We are always advised when a repair issue surfaces and we have all of our properties registered with American Home Shield. We have advised Nicklin if we have a preference for a specific company or individual for a particular type of repair. They always respond to our rental guests requests. We could not be more satisfied with all of the individuals and departments of Nicklin. We give them 5 stars. more

The staff at Nicklin is usually very friendly, helpful and actually cares about their clients. I know from my experience trying to self manage and using other management companies that they truly know what they are doing and look out for my best interest. It more

All of the folks at Nicklin are professional, helpful and thorough in their jobs. When a tenant has a complaint, they quickly respond and execute the repair. They are doing a wonderful job maintaining my property, locating reliable renters and being responsive to any problems that are brought to their attention. Their regularly scheduled property assessments also serve to catch any problems before they become major issues. I really appreciate their rapid response when a lease is over to locate another tenant and their advice to ensure we are aware of the local market conditions. more

My parents moved into Rock Springs Vista III over 20 years ago when they were first built and still live there to this day (unfortunately!!!) They've endured three different property management companies, I myself have worked in property management both in Illinois and in Las Vegas, and if I worked for a property management company like Nicklin's I would have quit the first day! The stories I hear from my parents about what goes on there daily is incredibly disturbing. There is not enough space and time which would allow me to express my feelings adequately toward this so-called property management company. If they spent more time on what they were hired to do and less time harassing homeowner's who pay their association dues on time and take pride in their units it genuinely would be a nice place to call home! It's a good thing, I live 2000 miles away from Nicklin Property Management because I would be up your A&% all the time. You really have no business calling yourselves Property Management....Your more like a Dictatorship and the Board Members of Rock Springs Vista III are your puppets without a brain in their bodies! I've read the comments from the past several years, and I find it hard to believe some of the comments that gave you a 4 star rating....It's obvious to me that you have select properties that you give more preferential treatment then others...and that's a shame and in NO WAY is it good business. more

Lived in a house for almost 4 years. paid rent and any late fee they could (and did) possibly tack on. When we moved out, they charged me for burnt out bulbs (all bulbs replaced with energy smart before left) and a diswasher hose that was kinked (they installed it!!!!!) plus a door lock that did not work when we moved in (said it was not on checklist so was my fault). They said pet stains in closets - we had no pets living in our closets! !!!!! Cons: CHECK EVERYTHING more

I have used this property management company for years, they have treated me with nothing but respect. They all care about not only the home owners but the tenants as well. Whenever i had a problem there was someone i could talk to, and they took care of my problems. I would recommend this company to anyone who wants to rent. The only reason these people have given bad reviews is because they did not abide by thier lease and did not take care of the property. i got all by deposit back and all i had to do was pay my rent on time and not destroy the property. How hard is that? There is nothing in the lease that you wouldn't do if it were your owner home. You have to pay your mortgage on time the same as paying your rent on time. This isn't rocket science. BE RESPONSIBLE & QUIT BLAMING OTHERS FOR YOU BEING A SLACKER!! more

I rented from this company for a year and all they did was rip me off. I left my unit spotless and they lied and said that I left the property a mess. They LIE CHEAT AND STILL TO KEEP YOUR DEPOSIT...They are the worst rental company ever TAKE WARNING AND DO NOT RENT FROM THEM, OR DO NOT LEAVE THEM IN CHARGE OF YOUR PROPERTY..THEY STEAL FROM EVERYONE...MAINTENANCE SUCKS...THEY NEVER RETURN YOUR CALLS AT ALL.. This company is the worst. They literally told me that if my sink was flooding the house, the first thing I should do should be to call them instead of turning off the water myself because the house is under warranty. Anything that I do as a renter, will void the warranty. There response time for fixing problems in their rentals, is about two weeks and they often forget who you are and what is wrong with your property. When you call them, they act like your inconviencing them. I have to pay out of pocket for the landscaping, pool maintenance, insect spraying and numerous other tasks that most property management companies usually take care of or pay for. Their people are rude and treat you like their red headed stepchild. Stay away from them at all costs. Cons: Everything you could possibly think of more

All of you renters with the, I need a light bulb changed, or my outlets aren't working, when all it takes is a flip of a breaker, or to re-set your GFI, which i'm some of you still ask what is a gfi, look it up moron! All of you act as if you are the only person in existence, well your not, this goes for owners too, take a number, and your call will be returned within 24 hours!!. qwitcherbitchin! as far as maintenance guys being in their back pockets, they are all sub-contracted, with their own companies, and this particular company does not mark up their maintenance bills to owners like a lot of other companies do, be thank full! Moving into a house? CYA (cover your a**) take pictures, mark everything down, don't play the pitty party woe is me when u get charged for breaking things, or not marking something that was truly there on your move in sheet as you are told to do so.
