Used to be quality organization. However, their races are oversubscribed, poorly run and expensive. Many races provide good freebies and spreads post race. NYRRC--water and lousy bagels. Races rarely start on time. The change to have garanteed marathon entry for running scored races led to congestion and poeple only running for the sake of getting garanteed marathon entry. In addition, their classes are overpriced for what you get. If you are someone who enjoys running, Is trongly recommend you join a private track club. You can train with them for a fraction of the price and 10x the fun!!
