Always great pizza with quick and friendly delivery. Deducting a star because I'd love it if they offered a wheat thin crust, and because their salads are too loaded with the unhealthy toppings. more

The food is mediocre and normally I wouldn't give this rating but I've ordered from here quite a bit and I've gotten a driver the last few times who barely gets out of his car (after making me walk out of my complex and down to the street because he doesn't call from the callbox), never says thanks or your welcome, and is wearing his headphones the whole time you're helping him out. I don't want to feel like I'm doing him a favor and I won't be ordering from here anymore since this is the kind of people New York Pizza employs. There are plenty of other awesome restaurants with sweet drivers who show up at the gate with a smile and a thank you. more

Great Pizza and loved the friendly service 1/19/2010

I normally don't write too many reviews but because I noticed just how many pizza joints there were within a 2 mile radius I thought I should help make the decision easier for those looking for GOOD pizza! I was really impressed and the food was totally New York style. There were like 5 pizza joints in the area and I was wondering why I saw most of the people traffic coming into New York Pizza. I was curious and once I tasted the pizza, I KNEW WHY! The people were very friendly and service was excellent. Definitely has my recommendation! Pros: Reaaaally good Pizza! Cons: Too close to my house...I'll go there like 5 times a week! more

Great Service. Great Food. Great Experience. 1/17/2010

Went to New York Pizza in San Mateo. The look was modern, and very clean. My food order came in a timely manner and it was very fresh and tasted very good. I will definitely be going back to them. Pros: Best pizza in San Mateo Cons: Wish the location was bigger more

Great Pizza for your money 1/14/2010

Hand Tossed Dough, Fresh Sauce, Fresh cut vegies and real California cheese. They deliver for Free! Great New York style pizza. I also tried there pasta and it was very good. Pros: Best Pizza in Town Cons: Limited Parking more

I have ordered from this place many times before grub hub and stopped because it was getting nasty. I decided to try them again since seeing them on grub hub and they have really improved! Ordered sm cheese pizza (the kid loved it), medium combo and wings for hubby. He said it was really good, then ate it all, and I gct the new York flat bread which was super yum! Thanks new York pizza! more
