I am the mother of a 20 year old who has been represented by New View for 13 years. As you can image, modeling agencies are always subject to the 'scam' and ""they didn't do anything for me"" complaints. \r
We have been treated with respect and honesty from they day we walked in the door with our 7 year old. \r

As you can imagine, we were skeptical with a young girl in an industry like modeling, and we visited many agencies and thought long and hard about things prior to signing up. Yes, we paid money. Tell me any thing you do with your child these days that you don't. Dance lessons, baseball camps, violin, tennis, soccer, you name it and parents will shell out any amount of money for their kids to learn, have new experiences and improve at something they enjoy. But that doesn't mean your child will dance the lead in the nutcracker, pitch in the world series or play in Carnagie Hall. Yet for some reason the modeling industry is expected to make every kid an overnight superstar, and every teen into the next Tyra Banks. \r

The training at New View was a positive experience for her, trained her for the industry, and taught her lessons in communications and confidence she has continued to use throughout her high school and college years. We were always informed about auditions that were APPROPRIATE for her (unlike agencies who will send EVERYONE to a casting that they don't fit the requirements for.) \r
\r
Every client they sent us to was reputable, and as she got older we had opportunities to meet with top agencies from NYC and MIAMI who came to meet New View models each season. We have understood from the beginning that modeling was a job, and not a place for us to look for someone to stroke our ego. This industry expect professionalism in it's models too and if you aren't willing to put IN the work and dedication, you probably won't get anything OUT of it either.\r

New View is a reputable agency with an extensive client list in the midwest. I am happy we made the decision to sign with them years ago and can assume that, although we all have different opinions, some of the negative comments may need to be taken with a grain of salt from those who didn't succeed.
