Great Flooring Contractor: $9,800\r \r We received 3 bids for replacing some carpets and floor tiles with engineered hardwood. New Era’s bid was well written and detailed. David, the owner, seemed very pleasant to deal with and his price was very competitive. We also picked him because his company had a lot of positive reviews online. Certainly when the job was done, they lived up to their good reputation. They showed up on time every day and cleaned up after themselves at the end of every day. Overall, they were all very pleasant to deal with. We are planning on hire them again to remodel 2 bathrooms for us as well as getting them to do a few other odd jobs here and there. We highly recommend them to any home owner who is in need of home improvements as they are capable of doing variety of tasks from landscaping to roofing and everything in between. We give them 5 stars with no reservations at all!\r more

Stone Work:\r \r We just hired New Era Remodeling & Repairs to fix some broken and loose stones and bricks around our patio. They did a great job. The price was good too. We will hire them again if needed.\r more

This was the 4th time we hired New Era Remodeling for our home improvement needs. In the past, we hired this company to repair our roof, replace the siding of our chimney, and install fences on one (1) side of our house. This time, we asked David Sabet, the owner, to add a utility room to the side of our house and modify an interior wall. He visited us twice and we discussed the possibilities and devised a plan of action. We had to wait about two (2) months for him to finish the projects he had on hand before he could start our project. We were not in a hurry and certainly wouldn’t want to give the job to anyone else; so we waited. David and his helpers worked diligently in the December cold weather every day until the job was successfully completed. As always, we are very pleased with his professionalism and his friendly attitude. He enjoys his work and the quality of work he does is excellent. more

Good Contractor\r Showed up for appointment on time; provided detailed written estimate; Started the project on time and did a good job. Painted the interior walls, doors, and ceilings. Repaired eaves and fascia, repaired roof, repaired and stained the fences, and did some landscaping. Also did some plumbing and electrical work. Refinished 2 tubs and a shower pan. Replaced the carpet in 1 room. Re-grouted and caulked 2 bathroom walls and re-finished some cabinets. After the buyer inspector gave us his report, we hired New Era again to do a few other minor repairs and sold the house just 2 weeks ago. New Era’s prices were good too.\r more

House Remodeling:\r \r This company remodeled my father’s old house from top to bottom and did a great job. They replaced the entire roof, fully remodeled three bathrooms, fixed several huge cracks on interior walls, fixed water damaged ceilings, installed floor tiles in the kitchen and bathrooms, replaced one of the A/C units, fixed one of the garage doors which wouldn’t open at all, fixed the sprinkler system which wasn’t functioning for years, Replaced the water heater in the attic, and painted the entire house inside and out. They gave my father a senior citizen discount which brought the total cost down an affordable rate. The amazing thing the owner of New Era Remodeling did was that he helped us get a registered nurse from Medicare to visit my old father several days a week for free. He also helped us to get a free house maid from Medicare to come in 5 days a week to cook for my father, to clean the house, help him take shower, shave him, etc. We are very thankful and amazed for the kindness and generosities this company has shown us.\r \r more

As Good As It Gets\r \r My husband and I have been repairing and upgrading our house for the last few months and we are exhausted. We decided to take a break and let a contractor do the difficult jobs that we couldn’t do ourselves. We found that New Era Remodeling and Repairs had a lot of good reviews online - so we asked them to bid on our project. We asked 2 other companies which also had good reviews to bid on the same exact project. We were impressed by the professionalism New Era showed. They showed up on time for an initial visit and we had a good 1 hour discussions. Their bid was very detailed and clear. Although their bid wasn’t the lowest, we still decided that we wanted them to do the work. They did a great job and finished the work on time as they had promised. This is as good as it gets. He fixed my sprinkler system and more:\r \r Water started flowing out of the ground this Saturday when my sprinkler system came on. I called New Era and David showed up within 2 hours. Apparently, a PVC pipe was cracked in the ground due to overgrown roots of my tree. He fixed it quickly by re-routing it away from the roots. I was so please with his price and professionalism that I also asked him to check and fix some of my defective sprinkler heads and trim my trees and bushes. Soon, I’m going to ask him to remove 2 medium size trees from the front lawn. I would recommend him to anyone who needs a good handyman.\r more

Smooth Operator\r \r We hired New Era to replace all of our 10 smoke detectors and install a ceiling fan in our outdoor gazebo. We called him on Saturday and he professionally installed everything next day, on Sunday. He is a smooth operator! We are very pleased with his professionalism and fees.\r more

Professional Painting Job,\r \r We have hired New Era a few times in the past for various home repairs and improvements. This time we hired them to fix some sheetrock cracks in some walls and ceilings and to paint the interior of our house in several places. As usual, they did professional quality work. Our family is always very comfortable with seeing these guys work in our house. They clean up after themselves every day and put everything back where they belong on daily bases. Their written estimates are always detailed and clear. Their prices are very good for the quality work they do. We feel that we are very lucky to know this professional remodeling and repair company. We’ll continue to use their services on as needed bases since they are a full home improvement service company and can professionally do everything from landscaping to roofing and everything in between. more

Very good painting contractor. They removed popcorn ceiling texture, retextured the ceilings, and painted all ceilings for us in a timely manner. They also did several other odd jobs such repairing our rotted patio door, a minor roof leak, re-caulked two (2) bathrooms, and installed two (2) new ceiling fans for us. They cleaned after themselves at the end of every day. They were very professional and pleasant to work with. Their prices were fare and competitive. We selected them because they had good reviews online. We will recommend them to anyone who needs a good contractor. more

We wanted to buy a house and found out that many of the windows have been leaking for sometimes. Before we buy the house, we hired New Era Remodeling to do a complete inspection of the house and report to us the problem areas. They checked the electrical, plumbing, and the sprinkler system as well as the heating & air-conditioning, the roof, all the doors & windows, floors, etc. Fortunately, only the windows had leaking problems. We hired New Era to fix them all. We have been in this house for about 7 months now and we are very happy with the quality work they did for us. We are planning to hire them again to do some wall repairs and paint the entire interior and exterior of the house. I?ll tell you how it turns out. For now, I give New Era 5 stars! more

We just bought a house in Plano. The roof had several missing shingles and it was supposed to rain today. We called New Era and they gave us an estimate over the phone. Although their estimate was a bit high, we still hired them to do the job. They came quickly and fixed the roof. They were very nice - I give them 4 stars. I took 1 star off for high price. more
