A few weeks ago, my sorority had a philanthropic karaoke night. We hired Blair to come out and be our karaoke DJ for the night. Not only did he keep the crowd incredibly entertained, but he was also amazing to work with. I have worked in the Wedding Industry for over 12 years. When it was finally my turn to have "my day", the first call I made was to Blair. When my brides tell me that they have booked Nashville Party Authority for their reception, I feel a sense of relief because I know their event will flow seamlessly. I attended a friend's wedding and reception over a year ago. I noticed the DJ and how he kept up with the schedule and the mood of the reception. When planning my wedding, my mom and I immediately thought of my friend's reception and DJ. We called her and found out she used Nashville Party Authority. She talked about how easy and great everything is. I agreed! Just a phone call or two and you are set up! I had a list of songs I wanted to be played during the reception and at certain times. EVERY song was played just how I'd planned. The DJ was great about keeping things organized and was so professional. I did not worry a single bit about the music or the flow of my reception. I just had a blast! They helped to make our day Perfect. I could not have imagined better service. I would DEFINITELY use NPA again in a heartbeat. I refer people to them anytime there is a wedding or event. Booking them over the phone was the best and easiest phone call I made for my wedding. I cannot thank them enough. After reading the online review, I decided to hire npa as my dj for my wedding. It was the biggest mistake that I could have made, and it forever ruined my special day. I was promised a dj who was experienced and able to make good judgments about what would please the crowd throughout the night,and that was the exact opposite of what happened...it was filled with embarrassing blunders (like playing the same song on repeat for a length of time) to playing so much boring, slow music that no one wanted to dance to (and many people left b/c of it), to not being able to hear the music or people speaking on the mic during toasts, to reading out the bride and groom's last name wrong when we were being presented. Anything that could have gone wrong, did, and we were not allowed more than one visit with the dj to go through all the necessary details. There are all types of mobile DJ companies out there in the Nashville area, most are a kid with a cd player, he might play what you want and he might play what he wants to hear.. Not Nashville Party Authority, the DJ's are adults that know the music that you want to hear before you know you wanted to hear it. years of experience means knowing the music, plus if they dont have the songs you ask for (yeah right) they will get it. They have the cutting edge equipment, to include not only the best sounding systems but awesome light shows with smoke, bubbles you name it. Many of Nashville Party Authority's DJ's can mix it up with the best out there. Pros: years of DJing experience, top equipment, great prices,reliable Cons: not aware of any more
