When we moved into our house 18 years ago, we replaced the original wood windows which were in very poor condition. We hired a local contractor who purchased and installed vinyl replacement windows from a home improvement store. -The new windows were an improvement over the wooden windows we replaced however we noticed that cold air still penetrated around the frames indicating a poor installation. After about 7 or 8 years, some of the windows started to fog. In the ensuing years, the fogging spread to most of the windows indicating seal failure. In the last 2 years, the frames started to separate. more

I love the windows! I love how easy they are to clean and I have noticed a huge difference with the noise reduction. I replace the windows about 2 months ago, it is time for the siding to get done. I am choosing to go with Newpro again because they do what they say they are going to do and it gets done. The installers were very nice to me and my family. I can not wait for my siding! more

We have finally changed all our windows to Newpro. We had changed some to other company windows, but they let in cold in the winter and we needed air conditioning in the summer. With Newpro windows I don't need air conditioning in summer and the house is toasty warm in the winter. No more drafts!!!! bought NEWPRO windows 22 yrs ago and a neighbor bought windows at the same time and was telling me that I was spending too much money and his windows were just as good but he had to replace his windows within a year and I guess you know who get the better deal, so I am using NEWPRO again for some additional windows that were not done the first time. more

We are so thrilled with our NewPro windows. We had one half of the house done before last winter. They performed better than we hoped for. We couldn't wait to call Ryan Spar and have him come out again to get the windows for the rest of the house ordered. Ryan is so knowlegeable and professional. Both times he came out we were impressed with how he was able to realize exactly what we wanted and when we wanted it. We have a log cabin and our concern was we needed a wood finish on the inside and we have it . It is awesome.The windows have added to our cabins atmosphere not taken anything away. more

I LIVE IN WESTBROOK MAINE,I HAD MY WINDOWS REPLACED A LONG TIME AGO AND THEY DID NOT HOLD UP VERY WELL. I CONTACTED NEWPRO WINDOWS , JIM HARRIS CAME TO MY HOME I LEARNED THAT ALL WINDOWS ARE NOT THE SAME. THESE WINDOWS ARE THE BEST THEY ARE MADE IN NEW ENGLAND FOR OUR WEATHER , I LOVED THE FIRST WINDOWS I HAD PUT IN NOW IM ORDERING ANOTHER ONE . Beware, when a bad review is posted, they post fake reviews to push down the bad review. All these ""reviewers"" only have one glowing post about newpro. I called to set up a ""free quote"" with newpro to replace two windows. The salesperson was very friendly and started writing up what I thought was a quote. The price he quoted, for one small picture window and a small casement window, was 4,900 dollars, about 3,000 more than the other quotes I got. Then he asked me for 20 percent of that price as a check. I told him I had just wanted a quote. He then went into a tyrade, and said ""well then why did I write up the sales agreement?!"" I have no idea why he started writing this up. I told him what the other quotes were for, and he told me that ""those other windows are inferior, your inexperience as a homeowner is overwhelming"". I was also supposed to get a quote for siding, which he said ""he wouldn't do since he didn't want to wast his time with someone who didn't know what the hell he was doing."" He continued to make rude remarks towards me and my home until he left. He left with ""I'd leave you my business card, but I know you'd never call."" I'm sure these pushy and rude tactics work with homeowners who don't know any better, or dont shop around. Avoid newpro at all costs, they are overpriced, likely because they only get business from the most timid of homeowners who don't shop around. You should never have someone come into your house for a quote and then insult you if you don't give them a downpayment on the spot. more

Newpro by far has the best replacement window and door products on the market. When we decided to replace our windows last year we looked at several different companies and nothing compares. The installers replaced 17 windows all in one day. Before they left they washed the windows and cleaned up every bit of debris. One of the reasons we chose Newpro is because they have their own installers and do not use subcontractors. We have been extremely satisfied with the windows. . They decreased our heating costs over last winter and have decreased our air conditioning costs this summer. We have been so satisfied with the windows that we have now ordered a replacement for our sliding glass door and front door. The sales people were very knowledgeable and helpful. I have no problem recommending their products. more

Last year (2010) we searched and had to sit through demonstrations from different companies. It's amazing the different degrees of quality. We had to pay a little more with Newpro but the quality of the Newpro is what sold me. You should see the bay window we had to replace, it was so poorly built and didn't last. We no longer have to deal with storm windows or steamed up windows with the change of weather and they leaked a lot. The view is incrediable and clear all the time! I think my husband was sold when the sales man Bill (now retired) told him that it's even replaced for free if the kids hit a baseball through the window. This year we wanted to replace a bow window in our bedroom because we haven't been able to open it and use it for years. We never even open the shade because we can hardly look out due to leakage between the panes. We didn't have to go through what we went through last year with all the different companies. We knew we would only call Newpro. We called for Bill but we were disappointed to find out that he had retired. He was very professional and very helpful. We instead got Jim who was just as nice, helpful & professional. I wouldn't go with any other window company than Newpro. I highly recommend them. They did a beautiful job during installation...they were truely professionals. We know when we go to sell our house that we have improved the value! Thank you Newpro! more

Back in 2008 I got 8 Windows from from Newpro. I was worried about the price. But after sitting hearing their pitch I hesitantly signed up to get my windows from Newpro.One of the reasons that made me get Newpro windows was the gaurantee that if anything happened to the windows. Anything at all. Newpro with fix it at no cost to me. When the windows were installed. I loved them! They looked beautiful. The rattling I used to hear in the at every gust of wind was gone. The draftiness - gone. All that's left is my beautiful clear view into Boston. The windows were worth the cost. The installs did the work and took away all the mess. They took the old windows away and the broken paint. So today I got another 16 windows from Newpro. Im replacing my dining room, living room, bathroom, and guest room windows. And this time Michael, my sales man was able to get me a better deal for being a returning customer. When the time is right I'll be using Newpro Siding and Doors as well. If you want something done right the first time. Go with Newpro. And if you're lucky you'll get Michael to help walk you through it. All I know is I love my Windows. I can't begin to say enough about my New Pro windows, and my salesman, Brad. Back in 2004, I had an emergency situation where my old windows had collapsed into the house during a blizzard, and snow was accumulating on my kitchen floor. Brad, and NewPro were prompt, thorough in their explanations and demonstration, and took care of my windows immediately. The windows have been great! East to clean, reducing my heating bill in the winter...I sit next to one while teaching piano, and I no longer feel any cold air through the window! They're awesome. Now, I'm replacing my dining room windows, about to implode as well. Brad was here within 48 hours, measured the windows, reviewed all my options and went over everything again with great patience and professionalism. I have more windows eventually to replace...all I know, is, I'm sticking with NewPro, and Brad is fantastic! more

We desperately needed new windows. One was cracked. One wouldn't stay open. They were in bad shape. We called Newpro intending to do some comparison shopping. But Brad Thompson's presentation was so convincing, that we decided to go with Newpro on the spot. We haven't regretted that decision for a minute. We had just had some new windows installed in December 2007. These Newpro windows would simply finish the job. That was my thinking in January 2010. That lasted for about a day. We purchased our first home three years ago, knowing we needed new windows and siding when we bought it. We started right away with the windows and we received several quotes. Newpro was one of the last and although the windows were on the higher side of the estimates, we are so glad we put in Newpro windows. We did the downstairs windows first, then we replaced the upstairs. We could easily tell a difference in our heating bill with the new window. Just recently, we had Newpro side our house. We have received nothing but compliments from the neighbors regarding how beautiful our home looks.
