Best Irish Pub in Alexandria 6/27/2011

Best Irish Pub in Alexandria and DC Metro for that matter. It's always crowded, which can be annoying, but it's worth it. Music is always fun. I've always had good service. They know what they're doing! Although I haven't eaten here often, the food I've had has always been amazing. more

You come to drink beer 6/27/2011

We always have a great time here. Great live music, and we always end up making friends at the bar. Decent bar food, but you don't come here for food. You come to drink beer and sing about the "humpty back whales and long-neck geese". You will know what I mean after you go! more

Great little Irish pub in Old Town. Usual pub fare on the menu, some great beers on tap (including a great Cider), and the nachos were pretty delicious. Think this would be a great place to see some live Irish music 6/22/2011

We heard a few songs from the band 6/15/2011

We heard a few songs from the band ( the aforementioned gentlemen in kilts) before calling it a night. Maybe it was Alexandria's large tourist population, but there was no "blending in" needed as is so often the case when out-of-towners try to mesh with a "regular" crowd. I've heard they party into the wee hours, and wish we could have stayed longer. more

Showed up early with a group of friends to eat. Ordered Bangars and Mash. You will not be disappointed if you order this dish. Large portions and tastes great. As the night went on the pub filled. Once the music started up we knew we were in the right spot. more

Pints of Guinness, live music, and the best damn prime rib I have had in years. Seriously, this is a rugby bar in the middle of historic Alexandria. I will be back! more
