Ok Food 11/16/2012

Nothing special about the food, but it's a good place to watch the game. The booths make it nice for kids. more

Sad, Sad, Sad 11/28/2011

Perhaps the most disappointing pub dinner I have had in a while. Beyond being ignored by the server and having to place my order with the busser, the entree (billed as flank steak with mushroom/thyme sauce) showed up overcooked and not even remotely resembling flank steak. This was a frozen mid-chuck, tenderized and sodium infused disaster, and frankly inedible. No check back from the server asking if the dinner was OK, no offer of water with dinner. Completely ignored the entire time. I can count the times on two hands (in my life) I have left no tip. This was one. My advice...stay far away from this place if you are looking to eat anything that resembles edible food. My prediction is that this place is not likely to be around for long. The staff seems more focused on socializing than looking after the diners spending $16.50 on an entree. I could have gone up the street to the local Teriyaki place and gotten way better food, and service. more

Pleasantly Surprised! 5/2/2011

Hesitant to go due to other reviews, but made last minute reservations for our group with Cassidy who was accommodating and professional. The place was hopping for a Saturday night, but our server Dana was on the spot for getting us our food and fulfilling our requests for extra this and that. She kept a smile and was very energetic. For bar food, the food was very good. Everyone in the group had a a great time and will be back! more

Sucks 1/1/2011

Good food but the service isn't all that great. They only have 2 high chairs in the whole place, I had to hold my son the whole time. I asked for apple juice and she said oh I am sorry we don't have apple juice. My husband ordered a salad before his burger and everyone else got their salad before and they brought his out with his burger and NO fries. Don't think I will ever go back. more

Families NOT Welcome! 5/14/2010

My husband and I visited this place last night with our 5 month old baby in tow. Normally I would not take my infant son to a sports bar & restaurant, but we got a coupon card/flier in the mail that advertised ""Families Welcome"". This place does NOT welcome families at all. When we arrived, the hostess was no where to be found. We waited several minutes before she showed up to seat us. She then informed us that the restaurant only has one high chair and it was being used. Pros: Lots of beer on tap Cons: Food was terrible more

Not Going Back 4/26/2010

We went to Mukilteo Lodge last Friday and would never go back again. Cons: Uncomfortable seating, poor service, mediocre food more

Heads-up about the parking situation.... 3/26/2010

Hoping this place can figure it out 3/18/2010

I was so excited to hear about this place opening, and have been very disappointed. The Happy Hour is great in terms of prices, but the food is sub-par. I have eaten there and so have many friends and the consensus is always the same - bad food. We really need a great place like this in Mukilteo so I am hoping that The Lodge steps up and improves the food. Otherwise, they won't last Pros: great decor, great happy hour Cons: food is pretty bad more

food 3/18/2010

We had heard about the new place in Mukilteo and wanted to check it out. We felt the food quality was poor. There was a pretzel /sausage on the appetizer menu that we ordered. We were served a pretzel only and looked more closely at the menu which indicated you could add a sausage for another $7.95. For the main course, we ordered salmon and were served a tail section that was thin, dry and tough. We could only eat a small bite of it. It appeared that food coloring had been added to the fish to make it appear redder than normal. The chicken burger we ordered was also dry. We do not intend to return. There are bars nearby that serve better food with better prices. Pros: nice construction, friendly staff Cons: poor quality of food more

Had a Wonderful Farewell Party 3/9/2010

My very close friends joined me at the lodge just last Friday (4/16) to give me a very special send off from my wonderful job, apartment, city, neighbors and co-workers, and so much more. The owners of the lodge, their manager, bar tenders, hostesses, servers and cooks were so typically friendly, professional and out right wonderful to us and to me in particular. Being a nearby resident of Mukilteo, I've had the great pleasure to visit the Lodge numerous times since it opened and I keep coming back with more and more friends who tell me they too will keep coming back. I just cannot praise all the staff enough, especially those who were so terrifically accomodating for my farewell send off. We had the corner section of the bar for quite a few hours. And other patrons were unbelievable friendly and congratulatory to me and the rest of us. What fun we had. I highly recommend the lodge to anyone. Service is beyond expections, food is great, and the place is just the best. This kind of sports bar has been needed in Mukilteo for a long time. Thank you Shawn and Beth, and thanks for hiring such a great staff! Marshall more

Absolutely beautiful! 2/24/2010

I think it is fairly hard to write a review based on a less than a week of being open, but I wanted to put my two cents in on Mukilteo Lodge Sports Grille... I think they did an AMAZING job on the decor. It truly feels like you are in a lodge in the mountains somewhere. The wood work is absolutely beautiful! The massive stacked stone fireplace really is a nice, warm touch. The service was great, the food was good (with a wide variety of items to choose from). Fun kids menu that kept my kids entertained.. The giant plasma t.v.'s all around make it an excited place to catch a game, and have a pint or two (not ten). I am glad Mukilteo has a fun late night option as well. I think if they get a few things ironed out, which most places that are brand new need to do before being successful, I believe M.L.S.G. will be a north end tradition for years to come. Can't wait to go back! In fact I'm going there again today for lunch. This will be my 3rd time! :) Pros: inviting atmosphere, wide selection of food, and drinks. Cons: few things to iron out. more

Give it a try.... 2/22/2010

It is a beautiful set up with great potential. When we checked out the place it was full of young adults - early 20s - with a few 30 somethings in the mix. Not a biggie - but a potential to turn off some. Cons: Young Crowd may turn off families and 30+ age groups more

wonderful new place! 2/22/2010

We attended opening night and had a wonderful time! The staff was great as well as the food (salmon and Oregon burger). The decor is very warm and lodge-like, very welcoming! Looking forward to returning! Pros: friendly professionsal staff, selection of food and drinks more

Had a great time! 2/22/2010

I was there on opening night with 2 friends and it was packed! We managed to snag a table and we had a great time. The staff was friendly and the drinks and food were good. Pros: The staff was very friendly Cons: None really... more

Nervous after reading reviews - but pleasantly surprised!! 2/21/2010

First of all, the place is gorgeous! We really like the use of woods and stone, plus the Pac Ten theme. Our waitperson was friendly and attentive. The bar was full (we stopped by for happy hour), so we ended up sitting in the lounge, a comfy room with a fireplace and huge, cushy leather chairs. We ordered drinks and food (had a half wooden barrel as a table) and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. We definitely plan on going back!! Bonus - they are open much later than any other restaurant in the area, so if we feel like making it a late night, we can! Pros: atmosphere, waitperson (Rachel), close to home Cons: food OK, wish there was a salad on the happy hour menu more

Great New Favorite Place! 2/20/2010

Great new place for Mukilteo! Very busy opening day! Our waiter was great! GOOD food, good drinks! Will be returning for sure! The decor fits perfect for a new place in mukilteo for dinner and drinks! would recommend it for sure! Pros: Great Menu & Happy Hour Appitizers more
