don't go there 3/21/2011

We went to the mukilteo lodge Saturday nite, the whole family was starving after a long day out driving around. The queen orderd the grilled salmon, and she said it was dry and smelled like gas. Three of the kids ordered different sized hamburgers, and they all stopped eating afte a bite, saying they were overcooked and dry. I tried the reuben, and there were only a couple of small, grocery store plastic baggy wrapped corned beef slices in it ( for $13. ! ), and, the only thing I could taste was the overly strong rye bread. And, to top it off, we had asked the ditzy waitress ( short blond hair ) for a salad with lettuce and tomatoes, with an italian like dressing . She asked if a red wine vinagrette would be Ok, we said yes. She showed up with what looked like a ceasar salad ( with croutons ), with the viangrette, no tomatoes. So the check arrived for $100. and, we had told her of the displeasure with the food, and, she took off $3 from the price of one hamburger. Talk about insulting, serve us food that no one wanted to eat, and asked if we would come back. NO. Why? Your food is terrible. more

Unimpressed with the quality of food and service. Beer is acceptable when they have it. more

Disappointing! Wanted to like it, but didn't. 3/29/2010

We expected to like the Mukilteo Lodge Sports Grille. But unfortunately we didn't. The food was average at best and unremarkable. (The prices, however, are remarkably high.) One especially low point to the meal: we spurned our server's recommendation of the house potato chips and had the french fries. They were unbelievably bad: extremely salty. We had no problem with the service, so we lucked out there. Pros: beautiful decor, outstanding beer selection, and very convenient location. Bad things: very average food and above average prices. There are too many other good restaurants around to waste money on this one, so we won't be going back. more

To slow for lunch break 3/12/2010

Six of us tried it for lunch today. There was one group of four that arrived right before us, otherwise the place was empty ( though it did fill up during our lunch ). It took 35 minutes to bring a burger. We had to ask for sugar, salt & pepper, silverware and napkins. Staff was friendly enough but service was very slow. I know they are new, but they should have been up to speed by now. We were not particularly impressed, and probably won't return. more

Wonderful! Many plans to go back! 2/26/2010

Good: The decor and feel of the place. There is so much bar space! Food was great, service was friendly and eager to fix their mistake, the variety of beer is exceptional. People are making stupid comments about how the "crowd" looked. I think the demographics of Mukilteo will give you a good idea of what to expect of the customers there.. Bad: Nothing! Everything was great!. Improvements: They are brand new and I liked them a lot. It is hard to do an opening well but they managed it even though they were busy.. Other: I think lots of people got the wrong impression because of the opening weekend. They were packed but in my opinion still managed to hold things together. I look forward to the times when they are less busy. We have already made several plans to go back. It's our new favorite place.. more

Give it a try..... 2/22/2010

It is a beautiful set up with great potential. When we checked out the place it was full of young adults - early 20s - with a few 30 somethings in the mix. Not a biggie - but a potential to turn off some. Opening night had to many people that were obviously over-served drinks. Hopefully they will work out that kink. We had the lava cake which was awesome, and drinks. They were out of the mixers for the drink on their menu that we actually wanted - but that's understandable on an opening weekend with no way to restock. The only suggestion/complaint I would make is that if you are coming to the bar with more than a couple people - unless you sit right at the actual bar, the tables in the bar area only seat two people. So we noticed people having to stand in the walkway to hang with their groups. It would have been nice to have a couple of larger tables in the actual bar. I like that it is open late. But it would also be nice if the restaurant side was open later than 10pm for this teens/families wanting to hit desert or late dinner after a movie. more

wonderful! 2/22/2010

We had such a wonderful time on the opening day of the Mukilteo Lodge. The staff was very accomodating and working hard with a very large crowd. Amazing, considering it was the first night! Food was yummy! Great place to watch the games and have a drink! I know we'll be returning soon! more

All kinds of Filthy. 2/22/2010

This place is a Freak Show. Maybe its best not to give Mukilteo locals a place to gather. Not the most attractive bunch. more

Disgusted. 2/20/2010

I arrived and not only was there no one waiting to seat my party, as I entered the restaurant there were drunk people harassing my party. As we waited for about 10 minutes to be seated we finally gave up and left. We noticed all of the employees of this wonderful establishment sitting around doing nothing at the bar. When exiting, we were confronted by another drunk person who started screaming in my face because apparently I walked past him without saying "Excuse me." Even though I did. None the less, this was the worst restaurant experience I've ever had and I don't think I will ever give this awful establishment a chance. more
