I would highly recommend them for an honest knowledgeable mechanic. They showed me what needed to be fixed on my car and how much it would cost. The work was done the same day. more

The battery chick 11/30/2010

I have never written an on-line review for anything ever, but I felt compelled to do so after the best car service experience I have ever had! My battery went dead in my car and I contacted Mr. Tire in NE Minneapolis on Central Avenue to see if they could help me. They were more than responsive and accommodating in my unique situation. In less than a few hours my problem was completely solved. I had a new battery at an extremely reasonable price, with awesome and efficient service. I will not take my car anywhere else for service ever again! more

Steve, Karen and the rest of the folks over there are extremely helpful. Every time they've found fixable items, they've explained\r to me whether it's one of those "You can pay me now or pay me later - oh, and at which time it will cost you more" or "You can wait on it and the next time you're in we can reevaluate it." more

The Best. Period. 1/5/2007

My wife had to go to the hospital to deliver our son. I had a slowly leaking tire. I came in to Mr. Tire on Central Ave in a panic. They dropped everything and got it fixed! more

Highly Recommend 10/12/2006

I took my car to Mr Tire years ago because a I had a coupon for an oil change and I've gone there ever since. They are professional and honest. I take my car there for everything and they charge a fair price. I would recommend this place to anyone. PROS: friendly, honest service. convenient location. fair prices CONS: more

Can Fix Problems Others Can't 6/27/2006

My husband and I have been taking our cars to them periodically through the years. Then we got a new used car that started to get lower and lower gas mileage and was sluggish on the road. We took the car to 32 or 3 other places, including the dealer, and no one could figure out what was wrong. We were ready to buy a new car but took it to Mr. Tire as a last resort. They found the problem and fixed it. Very impressive work. now the car has full power and better gas mileage. PROS: Honest and experienced CONS: none more
