Misleading, door-to-door, hard sell tactic stated 4 services of $99 each, then after initial service I was told 5 service were what I agreed to pay for. Simply not true. I've never used a yearly service contract company before and expressed my concerns to the salesperson. I explained my fear of the oncoming flea season as it was expected to be severe and I was willing to spend the $395--which he reiterated over and over-- for preemptive flea treating of my yard. Sadly, the flea problem I have now is the worst I've ever had. I resorted to having Moxie come inside to do a whole house indoor treatment, and came home to find my carpets so soaked and saturated that I was leaving wet footprints around the house a full 12 hours after service!! Despite that, my home is under seige by fleas. A cable service man complained to me that he was 'attacked' by fleas while working on my outside cable box. My kids and I are covered with unsightly ankle bites. Dismayed at the price I paid only to get a horrible flea infestation anyway. Yes, I'm treating my pets with Frontline (not having the normal effect it used to before Moxie) and I've resorted to buying my own flea sprays for carpets and furniture and have also bug 'bombed' my house at my own expense, on top of what I've already paid Moxie. It feels like the product they are using simply doesn't work! They are getting 2 stars because the office staff is friendly and the spider problem I had is well under control. I may have to surrender my pets to the shelter since I cannot get the flea problem under control. My kids are devastated and so am I. I've been forced to banish the cats to the outside. It breaks my heart. Moxie says they wont spray outdoors if the cats are out there but I cannot allow them inside anymore.
