We appreciated them, and want folks to know it. 5/23/2011

Working with Moving by Design, it was all about us. They worked within the context of our needs, and did what they said they would do. I told Tim that the crew he sent out was worth a million dollars. We hired them on the recommendation of 1-800 Pack Rat, when we decided to pack up some of our belongings and move them into storage. We have personally called 1-800 Pack Rat back to thank them for the great recommendation. Moving by Design are really wonderful, and I can't think of how they could possibly improve. We will absolutely be using them again when we are ready to unpack. more

Excellent job in a relatively short time. 5/20/2011

I chose Moving by Design because they could move my Select Comfort Hydraulic bed. They were very polite and very nice gentlemen. I also have antique furniture with a couple of pieces but I haven't heard back from them considering these items. more

Moving by Design is an excellent choice for a move of any size. They were on time and courteous. They were very gentle with my possessions. It took about half the time of what was first estimated. They were very efficient and professional. I would absolutely use them again! more

During a very difficult time of closing on my property in Houston, Texas I had to make the decision on a moving company to move me approximately 500 miles to my home town in Mississippi - I only had to meet with Tim for a short time and I new that this was the moving company that I wanted to use and during that time he was always willing to work with me with the difficuly time that I was having with the moving - Finally, the day came for me to see that beautiful moving coming into my drive way RED/WHITE/BLUE truck with a stunning name of MOVING BY DESIGN - as stated by Tim he assigned to me two young wonderful men Nick and Jason to be my partner on Interstate 10 to Mississippi for 9 hours - I want to say that I was treated with respect and they treated me like a member of their family - I was proud to drive behind the beautiful truck and with such fine young people - I just can't say enought about my feelings with respect to Tim, Nick and Jason for making that part of my life an enjoyable experience - Barbara Duncan more

Very accommodating. 1/21/2011

Moving by Design came to my home, picked up a piece of furniture, and delivered it to where my son lives. They moved some items out of his place, put it in our car, and they moved the piece of furniture into his room. And, they disposed of the cardboard boxes when they were done. They did everything we asked them to do. They were very accommodating. more

Moving by Design was wonderful. It was a very good move, and they were professional from the very beginning. They moved some of my things out of storage, and when they moved me to Colorado they were very professional. They took an inventory of everything I had and were very thorough. When the movers came to put everything in the truck they were very thorough and very careful. I have a lot of breakables, and they did an excellent job. They were very professional. It was my first time using them, and I would highly recommend Tim and his crew any day of the week. They were professional, caring, and polite. They did a wonderful job. more

Moving by Design did a great job and they did it quickly. They knew how to handle every situation when moving the furniture upstairs, and they made it look easy. They also took care of all the furniture by shrink-wrapping and covering anything when it was necessary. This was my first time using them and I am really happy with my experience. They did a great job. They were fast, efficient, and nice to work with. more

I moved from my home of 31 years into a two bedroom apartment. I had forgotten how stressful moving can be and was very apprehensive. Tim's guys packed my belongings with great care and with good humor. The actual move was very efficient. All my electronics, the grandfather clock, and my washer and dryer were in perfect condition. more

Moving by Design did a great job. We just moved to Pearland from out of state and we had another company move our things to a storage space in Houston. When we got here, I looked in the Yellow Pages for moving companies in the vicinity, and I called 2 or 3 companies for estimates. When I talked to Moving by Design, they seemed to be the company that would do the best job. They moved us from the storage space into our home and really took care of things. The people that helped us were very cordial and professional. They set up all of the beds and did everything we asked them to do with a smile. Carl Jackson more

They really bent over backwards. 10/20/2010

Moving by Design was excellent. We did a large move and nothing was broken. They did everything we asked and they really bent over backwards. They were recommended to me from a friend, and they are one of the few companies we have had come to our house who were able to find it because our house is not listed clearly on the map. There was no back-and-forth about being unable to find the house, they just showed up on time. Tim was especially helpful. He gave us ideas about pricing and answered all of our questions. They were great. more

Experienced, Competant & Honest movers 10/18/2010

We were pricing movers and this company was the only one that got back to me with an estimate of cost, the rest wanted to refer me to 'move consultants'. After hearing the entire move was going to be a bit pricey for us, I thanked Tim and said we would do it on our own. He got back to me and offered to have 3 guys come to help us move things into the truck, packing things in properly & using up all the space economically. He said it should take 3 hours. We took him up on this and I was very impressed with the puncutality of the 3 guys for starters, then they got to work and did a fantastic job - saving my husband & I from the really heavy stuff. They worked steadily and by the time the 3 hours were up, they were done. The unloading went so easy once we reached our destination, mostly due to the fact that things were packed in a orderly, professional way. I would happily recommend this company to anyone considering using movers, they were very up-front & honest and I appreciate those qualities. more

The movers from Moving by Design were professional, respectful and did a good job packing everything. They were late to arrive, but I still gave them 5s because of everything else. We have had bad experiences in the past, so it was nice to use Moving be Design. They were careful with everything, and Tim did a good job staying in contact with us. We referred them to our neighbors, who used them for their house move. Our move was fairly small, but they handled it very professionally and did a good job. I would use them again, and will definitely recommend them to others. more

The 3 men who showed up from Moving by Design were so kind and courteous. They made sure to take care of everything, the furniture and the house. They were asked to move pieces into different rooms because I had changed my mind, and they were always courteous and accommodating. I have moved many times before, and Moving by Design was very easy to deal with. They are trustworthy, courteous, and clean. more

Great staff. Punctual and efficient. 8/25/2010

I liked that although Moving by Design gave us an initial quote, they had the ability to assess what we had done on our own and lower the bid. We had done work on our own since they had first come out, so it was better than having a fixed bid based on the initial walk through. The move was pretty smooth, and I felt like they did everything in a timely manner. There was not a lot of wasted time, which was nice to see since they are hourly. They were very efficient. I felt that the guys who came out were very friendly and really nice during the move. It as a nice experience. more

I wanted to thank your movers and your company for doing an excellent job! Friday July 30, 2010 was the hottest day of the year 99 degrees (at that time). Your two workers worked very hard!!! They were professional, polite, and maintained a sense of humor. Nothing was broken or missing I am so very pleased with the service. I will use your company should I move again, and I have already started referring your company to everyone I hear say they are moving! more
