I called for a job on 7/17/2010 and scheduled it for Tuesday the 20th. The movers showed up on time. They were very friendly, fast paced, hard working and made sure all of my furniture and belongings had shrink Wrap and blankets and boxed up very nicely. Money is tight right now for me and my husband, we had to move from our nice two story home in Phoenix to a upstairs 3 bedroom apartment in Apache Junction.They went the distance for me and I had so much stuff that was very heavy. I'm so glad that i chose Movers of the valley, there was no hidden charges like some of the other companies I have used in the past. I would definetly reccomend them to anyone. Pros: The move cost me what i was quoted. Cons: None more

as a single mom of two its hard for me to find a great price at the right time with the right people i moved ^months ago and i looked up online to find a companie that fits my needs... i found movers of the valley on google .. i called the 21st and talked to tony the owner i was so immpressed on how friendly and caring about my needs he was ...i told him i needed to move in two days and he gave me a amazing price.. he said "right away we will be out and ready to move at 8am" when the movers got here they were so friendly they even helpd me finsh packing some of my kids thing that i had forgotten to pack up! AWSOME!!! i got packed and moved in about two hours which was less then quoted!!! i recomend this companie to all my friends. i was so pleased to have picked them and hoping for more moves to come!!! As a one-time customer of MOTV, I called recently to schedule a move. I would rate my previous experience with them (about 3 yrs ago) as "so-so". They arrived hours late and broke a TV stand during the move. To their credit, they sent an extra mover and did their best to repair the damaged furniture, though unsatisfactorily. They were neither the best nor the worst but because they gave the cheapest quote for a subsequent move and best accomodated my schedule, I decided to give them a second try. All was well, until I called to cancel the move (approx 1 week prior to the scheduled date). During the initial call (to schedule), I spoke with Tony, the owner. He was very friendly and charming. However, when I called to cancel, I again spoke to Tony. But this time he hung up on me, apparently disappointed after losing my business. I wanted to give him the benefit of the doubt (surely the owner couldnt be that rude) so I called back. When he answered, I said that I had just called and believe that we were disconnected. He laughed at me and said, "No, I hung up. You canceled. I got it" and immediately hung up again. When a company's leadership is so poor, you can almost be sure of the level of service you can expect from its employees. I would not recommend Movers of the Valley to anyone and will not use them ever again. I would encourage you to review their BBB report. The BBB rates them an F and they ARE NOT ACCREDITED. Movers of the Valley was a life-saver! I was almost done moving myself into a 3rd story apartment when I found that I could not get my couch through the doorway! I tried and tried different angles for 2 hours, even tried taking the door off its hidges, but ended up leaving the couch outside over night. I Also managed to poke a hole in the wall. I had resigned to putting the couch for sale on Craigslist but at the same time I loved this piece of furniture and didn't want to give it up. So, I did a Google search and found Movers of the Valley. Two men showed up to my apartment (on a Saturday) within an hour after the call. Even though I kept trying to tell them it was helpless, 10 minutes later the couch was in the apartment. They just walked it right in! The men were so nice and the price was right. I definitely recommend Movers of the Valley and will use them the next time I move as I am done with moving myself. Leave it to the experts! As usual, we received the best service from this company. This is the 3rd time we used Movers of the Valley and every time we have had courteous and professional crews. They take great care in protecting our belongings and best of all they are very reasonable. The owner was very nice and so were the ladies in the office. I recently hired these guys to move me from Laveen AZ, to Mesa AZ, and I was so impressed. The two movers where so nice and polite, they arrived right on time. They started working right away and got the job done right. I had never hired movers before so I wasn’t sure what to expect but Irvin and his partner were great. On July 20-21, 2009, I hired your firm to move the contents of three very large storage units (over fifteen hundred boxes of books, shelving, office furniture, etc…), and it turned out to be even more than I had anticipated. I am writing to commend and praise four of your employees for an extraordinary job superbly done: Jose Manuel Gaytan, Rodolfo Rosas Duarte, Jorge Armondo Navarro Ramirez, Jesus Sicre Ochoa They all consistently displayed an incredible dedication, unfaltering self-motivation and a genuinely awe inspiring work ethic. They, at all times, conducted themselves in a highly professional manner under intensely hot and difficult circumstances. All performed far above and beyond what would normally be expected of even very good workers. All were consistently positive, polite, and undaunted by any and all obstacles or challenges-regardless of size or weight. They all worked with an intensity and at such a fast pace, even after eight and ten hours, that truly inspired respect and admiration. Until I witnessed Manuel, Rudy, Armondo, and Jesus in action I thought I had one of the best work ethics that I had ever encountered, but they put me to serious shame. Having been in business, I can say without reservation or qualification that these four men are among the best workers I have ever encountered. Although the movers showed up promptly with a large truck and were friendly, only one of the movers was experienced--the other seemed new and the more experienced mover was getting annoyed with him. When I asked about moving insurance to protect against damages they said they were not aware of such a thing and that they would be careful and not damage my items. After an 11 hour move everything seemed good. The next day as we were putting all the furniture into place, we noticed our fridge is dented/scratched, a coffee table has damage, a TV was cracked/damaged on the top plastic (it still works thankfully), but worst of all they tapped pieces of a laminate desk together withhout putting fabric underneath so when I removed the tape it peeled off the wood laminate coating completely ruining the desk. I called the company and was referred to the office Manager. After sending them photos of the damage, the office Mgr emailed me back that the Owner Tony had said "too bad" and that she quit because it was such a bad place to work. She recommend that I file a complaint with the B B B and take legal action against him for the damages and gave me his contact info. This seems to be a similar story when you read reviews of this company. I feel we were lucky that nothing too expensive was destroyed during the move. I have had my things in storage at "movers of The Valley" in Mesa for 6 months. They are always sending me notices that I didn't pay, when I have. I am constantly proving to them that I am a customer in good standing, I can't get my things out of this place quick enough. Pros: none Cons: Poorly managed more

To start off from when I called, office staff was friendly and helpful an most of all offered the lowest price. Once the moving day came the guys were on time and worked really hard... even helped box up a bunch of smaller things I hadn't gotten to. Plus they brought boxes and didn't even charge for em, I was pleasently surprised to say the least. I was mostly happy with this service because it took a lot of stress out of the moving process, no way the transition would have been as smooth without em! I can not express enough to you all that you need to be extremely leery of "Movers of the Valley" in Mesa Arizona. Check with the Phoenix B B B, they have received 36 complaints in 35 months. Pros: You will learn to handle extreme frustration Cons: Your phone calls will never be returned more

Do not under any circumstances use this company. They employ "movers" who have no idea how to move, do not speak english, and have only been here in this country "for a few days" as was told to me by the movers. They call this professional service? Joke. They damaged almost $2000 worth of my stuff - When questioned about it, the NEVER retrurned my calls, refused to deal with me, and are horrible to work with. I am not alone. Check out the complaints and law suits that have been filed against them elsewhere. I am not the only one who got burned! Pros: Ummm, gave me an opportunity to speak Spanish. I had just been completely screwed by Midnight Movers and was completely panicked. They were the first big ad in the yellow pages. They were so nice and helpful and at my place within 2 hours. The guys were nice and friendly and did a great job.They charge by the hour and I'm used to being charged by weight, so I was a bit skeptical that the movers would be lazy to make more money. I was moved within 2 hours and they were fast! Highly Recommended!!! more
