Although the movers showed up promptly with a large truck and were friendly, only one of the movers was experienced--the other seemed new and the more experienced mover was getting annoyed with him. When I asked about moving insurance to protect against damages they said they were not aware of such a thing and that they would be careful and not damage my items.
After an 11 hour move everything seemed good. The next day as we were putting all the furniture into place, we noticed our fridge is dented/scratched, a coffee table has damage, a TV was cracked/damaged on the top plastic (it still works thankfully), but worst of all they tapped pieces of a laminate desk together withhout putting fabric underneath so when I removed the tape it peeled off the wood laminate coating completely ruining the desk.
I called the company and was referred to the office Manager. After sending them photos of the damage, the office Mgr emailed me back that the Owner Tony had said "too bad" and that she quit because it was such a bad place to work. She recommend that I file a complaint with the B B B and take legal action against him for the damages and gave me his contact info.
This seems to be a similar story when you read reviews of this company. I feel we were lucky that nothing too expensive was destroyed during the move.
Pros: You get what you pay for--they were the cheapest
Cons: No protection if your items get damaged--move at your own risk
