Morehead Honda

I recently purchased a pre-owned Honda Accord from Morehead Honda in Newburgh, and had a wonderful experience. To be honest, I did my homework prior to arriving at the dealership and immediately saw a car that I knew was a great pick up. After I saw the car, I was immediately assigned a salesperson (Larissa) and she was more than helpful. Although she has only been working a short time with Morehead, she was very professional and efficient in helping to set up the purchase of the car with their finance department. After I was approved, the finance manager did an excellent job of breaking down the numbers in terms of monthly payments and available options, which made my life easier. Very disappointed with the service department. I have been a Honda customer since 1992, in April 2012 I purchased an Accord ,which was my 7th Honda purchase in 20 yrs.I have always been very satisfied with the product as well as the service. Every three weeks or so the tire pressure indicator light would come on and I had to put air in the rear driver's side tire, certainly not a big deal, but annoying nevertheless. I brought my car in for service three times and was told by Dean nothing was wrong with the tire or gauge and the cause was related to a change in temperature. You can imagine how insulted I was since I never had this issue with my 2004, 2007, or 2009 Accord. I brought my car to my local mechanic for an oil change and to rotate the tires, mentioned the tire pressure indicator problem and guess what ... there was a problem with the valve which he fixed. Come on service department if you would have listened and looked you could have found the problem ! It apparent that you don't value your customers more

Our first experience at Morehead Honda was a little lease than pleasurable. Our salesman was pushy, did not listen to our wants in a car, and pushed us toward a car we were not terribly interested in. However, the pricing on the vehicles was right, so we decided to go back. On our second visit, the same salesman was helping us and was worse than the day before. He twisted our words, told my husband he lied about a pay-off amount, but when my husband called him out, the salesmen checked his notes and realized he was wrong. We left night unsure what to do. We called the morehead honda customer service dept. and they were extremely helpful. They set us up with a new salesman and we ended up purchasing a vehicle. The new salesman was fantastic. He listened to all of our wants in a vehicle, he did not try to push us into something above our budget and he was very professional and friendly. We will definitely go back to Morehead Honda. Overall the experience was fine...I think we just were unlucky with our salesman the first time around. more

Morehead Honda is by far the worst dealership in my area. My salesperson Dey is by far the worst salesperson I have ever dealt with. I will not recommend that anyone buy a vehicle from them. They ran my credit without my permission. They all cover up for each other and no one admits there wrong doing. UNPROFESSIONAL!!! more
