We found MoonBrook due to an emergency. Our's dogs stomach twisted which we found was called (Gastric Dilation/Volvulus-bloat,gastric torsion) We were on Vacation at Chataqua Lake when our 3 year old dog (Jaxon) was sick and taken to MoonBrook for treatment. It sounded to simple with a fairly quick diagnosis. He needs Emergency surgery. What do we have to do? Put $500 down, sign here & we will call the Doc. This is fairly common in large animals,we see it quite often. Does this have to be done now? Yes , if not he would die shortly. We were given a guestimate of an adittional charge & were told they would call us after surgery with an update. 8:30 PM we received a call stating that the surgery went well even though there were complications. We were called the following morning at 11AM & were told to come pick up Jaxon,He is ready to go. OUR QUESTION WAS WHAT DO WE HAVE TO DO NOW?
