The food is delicious, the menu is great, the service, so-so. The waiter would talk you out of what you ordered and suggest something much higher in price. Avoid the lobster bisque, way too thin. Start with a great cesear salad! Pros: trendy Cons: service, location more

Worth driving in a Noreaster for 11/18/2002

Dinner at 7:00 last Saturday night. We were on time our friends were late because of the weather. Didn't get any of that "you must sit down now" stuff. We went to the bar and they sat us at 7:20 no problems. The waiter recomended food and wine which we took his advise on. The chef even checked up on us! Now I get the hype. We will definently go back. Pros: Valet, Service, Atmosphere more

The lobster bisque is the best!! 10/30/2002

I went knowing that Mistral would be choice, but I must say this is some of the best food I have ever had. For appitizers we had the lobster bisque and tuna tartar. I highly recommend those to anyone. For dinner we had the lamb chops and duck which were prepared magnificantly. I highly recommend this place. more

I went knowing that Mistral would be choice, but I must say this is some of the best food I have ever had. For appitizers we had the lobster bisque and tuna tartar. I like Mistral. I have always had a good meal. Go for the sole or any other fish entree. Also, the grilled pizzas are good as well as the caesar salad which is amazing. Generally, everything on the menu is yummy except for the linguine dish which I hear is just ok but why would you order that anyways when there are so many other interesting and delicious things to order!!!!! The service is good, and surprisingly not snotty. Overall, I really enjoy dining here and think it is worthy of its reputation. more

Just heard that my favorite restaurant was voted best place to be picked up...Though not single myself, I find that hard to believe as I am usually too enthralled in the food to pay attention even to the love of my life! By the way, is the chef single?? Pros: atmosphere, bartenders who know Cons: inflexible, parking more

Duck confit was incredible. Lots of flavor and very rich. Our party also ordered Halibut, Veal with Polenta and Lamb. All were exceptional. Portions were a good size. Our waiter (Fabiano)was extremely knowledgeable about wines. He was attentive without being over-bearing. So refreshing after being at so many other places with stuffy atmosphere, snobby staff and ridiculous prices. Its not cheap but we felt worth every dollar. Highly recommend. Went on a weeknight-no real scene. Pros: variety-meal options, not rushed, excellent food Cons: Music not suitable more

Went there last night for the first time in a while... Great drinks, interesting ""euro crowd"" atmosphere, and good conversations abound! Be sure to try the ""fry bread pizza"" - delicious, filling and not too expensive! more
