I have the MVP program with Milton Frank Plumbing and it has worked well for me. When I call I have gotten priority, and they come right out to do the work. I don't have to wait. Other people have taken a while to come out, or don't respond to calls. I like the fact that when I call Milton Frank, they come out right away. So far there has been no problems with the work they do. The guys are neat and friendly. The only thing is that sometimes they don't have the part they need on the truck, and they have to go back to the shop. more

Quality work for 30 years. 6/3/2010

We have been using Milton Frank Plumbing for about 30 years. They have always been very good and have taken care of everything. They have helped us with a lot of problems. The only time there was a problem with their work was because of a pipe that was very difficult to get to. The first time we repaired it we tried a makeshift repair to see if it would work, and when it didn't they got right on it and fixed it correctly. Other than that there has never been a problem. They are the only plumbers I use. Years ago we tried a few other plumbers and got into trouble because of it. Milton Frank ended up correcting that for us, and we have been using them ever since. Even though we moved out of their service area they still do all out plumbing because we are such long term customers. They really are good, and I would highly recommend them. more

good company....owner always makes sure of quality work 5/26/2010

workers are friendly and seem to be knowledgeable.....always on time and have the needed equipment. I find their prices steep but have no complaints about their work. more

We bought our house in 1992, and it had been built for House Beautiful magazine. When we bought the house a lot of the Kohler products were in need of repair. At the time I used Champion Plumbing, but when he retired Milton took over his clients. That is how I started with them. They have done two remodels for me, and they are beautiful. My kitchen is fabulous. I have never had a plumber from them come to the house who isn't extremely careful, neat and tidy. They always clean up after themselves. I couldn't ask for better service. The only issues I have had is with Kohler. One time I ordered a porcelain sink with them and though they said they would ship it right away, it took 3 months. However, those issues aren't Milton Frank Plumbing's issues. You really can't beat the service. They are a wonderful addition to our business community. more

Extremely Over-Priced 3/9/2010

In contacting MFP & asking for a verbal estimate, I was told they couldn't quote over the phone; the plumber would give an on-site quote. When the plumber arrived he quoted $525 to install a customer supplied kitchen faucet set and garbage disposal. He stated that the prices are an established "flat rate" from a MFP pricing chart & they haven't billed using an hourly rate for a few years. So the office should have been able to give me a verbal estimate from their pricing chart. The plumber also stated he couldn't give me a ballpark estimate on how long the job would take. Surmizing no longer than a 2 hour job, I wrote a check for the $48.50 trip charge and asked the plumber to leave. I used McKinley Plumbing Services of The Woodlands, another family owned plumbing business in my area. When called, they quoted me their "flat rate" for the same jobs over the phone and when their plumber arrived he had no difficulty telling me the entire job would take approximately 1.5 hours. Able to calculate the "hourly rate" (which was still high) I agreed to the job and ended up paying $247 for the work. If Milton Frank's plumber would have done the installation in about the same time, they would have made $350/per hour. I had used MFP in the past and according to them I'm a valued customer. I emailed MFP to relate my disappointment and received a response stating they shredded my check for the service call and apologized for my bad experience. Nonetheless, I will not utilize their services in the future. I simply can't afford to pay their rates. Cons: Over-priced and not forthright more

That estimate was spot on for the installations. Based on the 1.5 hours it took McKinley Plumbing, Milton Frank's plumber would have cost me $350/hour. I paid more

I read all the reviews, checked with BBB, and called MF Plumbing. They came the next day, gave me a quick estimate, charged me the $49 service call + cost to do the job. Very painless and worth the money. I will use them if I have any other plumbing problems and recommend their services. more

Milton Frank Plumbing Co is OVERCHARGING!!! 11/27/2009

Called them on the phone for price to clean out drain line. People in office told me they have to estimate first before price quote. Chaged $47 for service call. Said needed to clean drain line just like I asked on the phone. He said they have a set price in MF manual and the price was $197 plus the $48 service call. So they did know how much it was before they came out. The price (197) plus service call(48) was outreageous. they lied about not knowing what the price was in advance as they have a set price. Campbell and Sons 8 miles down the road came out for FREE and clean the line for $125 total not $245 ripoff from Milton Frank. Check around and do not call them they will stick it to you more
