I was absolutely terrified of having my wisdom teeth out and Dr. Maron made it go really smoothly. He is the oral surgeon for the Thrashers hockey Team, and does major restorative facial surgery (medically related, I don't know that he does cosmetic) and works with both children and adults. His website is ""jawsoms"" I felt the consultation was a little rushed and there was a cheezy video (but informative), but don't let that discourage you (maybe it was just a busy day) -- after that he was extremely attentive and he did a great job. I had a list of questions after leaving the office, and his secretary let me email them to her and he and his nurse/assistant answered all of them to my satisfaction. He called to see how I was doing a few hours after the surgery, and a couple days later when I was concerned about something, he answered his pager within 10 minutes. He was out-of-network for me, but i'm glad I paid the extra price for quality care. His office also has interest-free (for 12-18 months) financing. Most important, he was honest about possible outcomes and complications (although there weren't any), he was very attentive, he has done several follow-ups with me since the surgery, and it was obvious when I dealt with him that he was extremely competent and experienced. The stiches, etc. left afterwards were MUCH cleaner and smaller than my siblings who had theirs done by other surgeons, so I think he does very good surgical work. I also had the potential for medical complications because of my medical history and he was careful and understanding about all my concerns and I did not end up having any complications. See other reviews on Dr. Oogle website. I'm glad he was the one to do this surgery I dreaded so much, and if I needed other oral surgery done in the future I'd definitely go back!
Pros: Very Experienced, Good location (if in midtown), Good work
Cons: consultation video (still ok)
