Amazing venue on 5th Avenue 1/22/2012

I recently celebrated my Birthday party at the Midtown Loft & Terrace, and everyone who attended the event had an amazing time. To start this place probably has one of the best views of the Empire State Building. The space also came with an illuminated bar and that perfectly complemented the uplights along the walls. Unlike other venues that I have seen, this place also has a very nice lobby with a doorman, and the place included furintuire and staff with the rental fee. Overall I Highly recommend the ML&T for an event, more

Amazing venue in NYC 7/25/2011

My company recently rented out the venue for a trade show, and what really caught my attention were the views of The Empire State Building from the Terrace. The Terrace also had a variety of flowers,trees, and really made you feel as if you were away from the city and work . The restrooms in the loft were all marble and looked like they were recently renovated. The ML&T staff seemed professional and even helped out in reparing our companies projector, which if it was not reparied in time would have been an embrassement to our clients Overall I highly recommend this venue to anyone planning an event in NYC. more

Wonderful Event Space in NYC 3/20/2011

I am really impressed with this venue. The views from the Terrace and inside the loft are simply amazing. The location is perfect since it’s near all mass transit. The space manager Kadir was great to work with and very attentive to our concerns. The management was very flexible, and even allowed us to post signs pertaining to our fundraiser event in the lobby, which really made a positive impression for our guests once they walked into the building. The bathrooms are all marble and modern, and look like they have recently been renovated. Since our event was such a success we decided to book with the Midtown loft again next year for our annual fundraiser. more

Great sweet sixteen 2/14/2011

I had my sweet sixteen at Midtown Loft last month and it was amazing! The caterer they recommended was fantastic and decorated the space as well. The included lounge furniture is tres chique! My friends are still talking about how cool the space was and that they want to have an event there. more

Amazing Wedding Venue on 5th Avenue 8/21/2010

I am very happy that I made the right choice to have my wedding at Midtown Loft & Terrace. The wedding took place last month. When my guests arrived they were very impressed with the views of the Empire State Building & city skyline from the Terrace. My guests also had no trouble finding parking since there was ample amount of parking lots near the venue. The venue is located on right on 5th avenue and 29th street which is a great location. In comparison with other venues in the city the rental fee was very reasonable. There rates also include what other venues would call hard costs such as an event manager, cleaning, in house furniture and an illuminated bar which would cost at least $1000 to rent for the night. Based on my research of wedding venues in Manhattan, they are the only ones that include so much and that helped us stay within our budget. I also liked the fact that we were allowed to bring our own caterer. I must say that I strongly recommend the Midtown loft and Terrace for anyone planning to get married in Manhattan more

Perfect Venue for Weddings 10/29/2009

My husband and I are very happy that we had our wedding at the Midtown Loft & Terrace. To begin, our guests were amazed with the views of the city skyline from the terrace. The view of the Empire State Building from the terrace is the best I have ever seen. The price was also very reasonable in comparison with other venues in the city. Unlike other venues, they do not charge extra for additional services such as an event manager, cleaning, and instead they included those services with the rental fee along with lounge furniture, a bar and a red carpet in the lobby. Another great aspect about this venue is that you can bring your own cater. This was important to us since we wanted Kosher for our wedding night. The venue is located right on 5th avenue and 29th street. Since the location was so great it was easy for our guests to get there. Overall I highly recommend the Midtown loft and Terrace for anyone planning to get married. Pros: location,well maintained venue, reasonable price Cons: None that I could think of more

Very nice spot! 8/6/2008

The loft is great - very clean with the sound and furniture on site - exactly what I was looking for. All included in the price and that's what sold me! The terrace is beautiful, the view couldn't be better!! Again - the sound, some furniture and lighting already there. I was responsible for a corporate cocktail reception in July and the event was a huge success!! This is my first review on citysearch, I had to sign up - they do deserve it. more

best party space in NYC! 3/18/2008

i was in charge of planning my companys annual event this year and i came to Citysearch to find somewhere to hold it. the video of the Midtown Loft is definitely what sold me! the space is so versatile and perfect for what we were looking for. the owners were so helpful in directing me to caterers and party supply places. the cost was right in our range and the space was perfect for what we were looking for. i recieved amazing feedback about how well-run and beautiful the party was. everyone had a blast, i would use this space for any big party i ever plan again. thank you citysearch and midtown loft and terrace for making my coroporate event perfect! Pros: huge, clean, beautiful event space Cons: party was over too soon :) more

Beautiful venue 2/2/2008

I rented Midtown loft for my company?s annual party and got very good feedback from all attendees. The space is fairly new and very clean, comes with furniture. The staff I dealt with was easy going and helpful. I didn?t use the terrace but saw it during my site-visit. I agree that the front part has a breathtaking view at the Empire State Building. Its location deserves extra points too I had people coming out of town and country, and this was absolutely a plus!! Pros: good value more

Very good experience, 5 stars 10/16/2007

Beautiful space, esthetically very flexible, cooperative staff and most importantly well maintained (believe me - most event spaces in NYC look nicer in pictures than in reality). In this case, the loft looked actually even better in reality, which does not happen very often. It's good for you if you are planning a wedding or high end corporate, fashion event etc. I planned my company's event in the loft and we are returning for the holiday event this year! Pros: clean space, great terrace view, location Cons: I can't think of any more

Among the best spaces in NYC! 5/21/2007

I planned an engagement party there and it was beautiful. I have worked with many event spaces in the city and Midtown Loft and Terrace is among the best. The staff is very helpful with all your needs and is flexibile with any special requests. The furniture is included which is a plus. The terrace has an amazing view of the empire state buliding! The space was very clean and well kept. My clients are still raving about the space and their party. I highly recommend it! Pros: Great staff and beautiful space Cons: Elevators could run a little faster more

definitely recommend this venue 5/18/2007

I had my wedding there in May of 2007 and it turned out to be fabulous. The place is located on fifth ave, and has an amazing view of the Empire State Building. Most of my guests and my family were from outside of new york , and they loved it!! The manager was flexible with my deliveries. I had some rentals come from outside of new york and could not coordinate them on the day of the event. They were very helpful and stored them for me. They provide their own furniture in the loft and I used that too. In the lobby they even rolled out a red carpet and kept the elevators private for my guests. Overall I was very happy that nobody interfered with my event. I'm actually planning my best friend's wedding there in June 08. Pros: location, view, flexible staff, and include furniture with the price Cons: none that I could remember more
