Michaels

I visit the craft store very frequently because I'm always doing some kind of new project . Lately the service hasn't been as good as it used to be. My last couple times in the store I have had the person at the register ring things in wrong, the first time she rang in 2 many of 1 thing and the other time they forgot to swipe my coupon. So each time I had to stand in a really long line again to get my money back. One day I was looking for a specific item I knew they carried and when I asked a sales person they told me they've Never stocked it and was really rude about it saying I was wrong. I know what I bought and I finally asked at the register and the girl told me that she knows they used to carry it but hasn't seen it lately. Another time I stood in line which seemed like forever (only 1 register open, lots of staff near by) and when I got to the register the girl walked off to go help another staff person and came back a few minutes later. Never even apologized. more

Michael's has a fantastic supply of materials, kits, etc. for any art or craft project you could imagine. Items are grouped logically and are easy to locate within the store. Prices are excellent, too. Recently we needed to buy a birthday gift for a child interested in art. After purchasing a Crayola art kit at Toys R Us, we decided to see what Michael's had. We were delighted to find that we could purchase 3 different art gifts at Michael's for the same price as the single Crayola kit! Needless to say, we bought the 3 Michael's gifts, and returned the pricy single one to Toys R Us. more

This Michael's store is conveniently located in Clifton Park. It is easy to stop by and pick up needed art supplies. The store is clean and organized, with helpful employees. The prices are reasonable. more
